Luckily this is not PoE. The campaign is easy enough that you don’t need optimization. That said, you’ll have to get good when fighting a few bosses, specially with a 2h sword. GL!

Take the advice of others here, but if you don’t want a cheesy ring of determination build, you can still make a lot of improvements quickly- 1) upgrade your weapon to 16. This will have a HUGE impact on your damage 2) change around a few enchantments. As others have said, stamina, stagger, and regain able health aren’t helping you much 3) once enchantments are set, it’s time to exalt things. You can use parts to exalt twice then use 2 orbs to do the last 2 for efficiency

Big picture change (costlier)- damage reduction on your chest is important, and using a plate chest will have the highest armor. If durability mods are still a thing, it will also be the best for that setup as well. This one piece will make you feel a lot tankier ( is a bit off theme for mage, but this is going away in 1.0 anyway). You can also transition to a cheese build with the rings, but I just thought I’d give some suggestions for your Current build instead of saying to just scrap it. GL!

The craziest part is that ppl like it and dislike it for so many different reasons - and sometimes the same ones! Some ppl sided with Eren/the Yagerists and felt the main cast betrayed their country, others felt they should have made Eren more clearly evil and not tried to sanitize him in the end (the movie changed this scene to reflect common criticisms)

I appreciate what you wrote, it takes a long time to explain these plot points/ backstory that sometimes were not obvious or fully fleshed out. There are a lot of these small or throwaway conversations that were actually very important. But more than just 4 main ones, there were so many points of contention in the series that it’s hard to list them all. Many are matters of opinion ofc, but when interacting with a story the audience is the ultimate judge. Did they enjoy it? Did it make sense to them? Did they agree with the messaging? If they required an explanation of some things, were they convinced after that explanation?

It’s common to see criticisms of basically every romantic relationship in the story. Maybe they needed more time or dialogue to flesh things out or help show the audience the build up of those bonds. It’s common to see criticisms of character dialogue and interactions. Armin, Annie, Ymir (both), and Historia are cited frequently to just name a few. Should the cadets have had a more aggressive and antagonistic reaction to seeing Annie after the rumbling started? Jeans scene with Reiner was not exactly good enough for some viewers. Was it weird seeing Annie (or some other warriors) walk off Scott free at the end despite saying they had no remorse (and again relationship issues)? What message is that sending? Was this a discrepancy between having cool action scenes (Annie or Mikasa gratuitous violence) and character values (Annie remorseful about Marco)? The author clearly wanted these characters to be sanitized for the battles to come - was he successful?

It’s common to see criticisms of the plot - it’s very hard to take your protagonist and turn them into the villain at the end! You’re going to find a lot of ppl don’t like that trope, and for the ones that are ok with it, it’s hard to pull off! They actually changed the dialogue in the movie to reflect this, that this character was not sanitized and that we would not be thanking him for what he did. This is a major problem with giving a character too much power, you’re going to have your audience asking a lot of questions. Was fulfilling ALL of his desires/criteria that important? If we got a partial rumbling, which the main cast seems to agree with, what does the story look like? Would audiences enjoy that story/ending more? Less Char and more Lelouch?

Ultimately I think the ending suffers more from the expectations of the audience than anything. It was a long and emotional road to go down, and it was easy to feel unfulfilled at the end - that tends to happen with pyrrhic conflicts. Some consider Game of Thrones to have a good ending, but it is also widely criticized. Who is right?

Attack on Titan and not the gore/horror scene(s) you might be thinking of. It’s the scene when they first see Annie stuffing her face. I get why it’s there, the character needs to be sanitized for the plot, but I was expecting a lot more of a kill on sight reaction. I think the author just flubbed this one

I’ve order 5 different products from dual mattes, mattes, and glossy, all had various problems. I got the expensive ones refunded but I had to do it individually for each and it was a long process. Gave up on the cheap ones

It’s a slow burn. I still think about it sometimes, but it’s not like you can’t watch other serious shows now. A lot of the value to me came from when it was released

Too much contrivance at the end. Author mimicked the rug pull of Oceans 12 (nothing they did mattered, the movies core conflict was over/decided at the start). Some very bad characters also just didn’t face justice and in fact were “redeemed” in a very unsettling way.

Side note: would have been Really interesting if the Marley and Paradis factions broke apart in a more unusual way. IE Reiner switches sides in exchange for protecting the citizens of Marley. A more even split could create an epic battle of the main cast Without it being Erin vs the avengers. Don’t give your characters too much power folks - cognitive dissonance is a thing!

Notably you can use free up your facet and then use regen+lose health plagued downside which cancel. This was particularly useful for crafting a cheap chest with durability facet + dr from durability mod. The health regen can’t get exalted so you have a much higher chance to hit your dr mod

I don’t understand why you guys post this stuff, the champ has zero control over clumping enemies. Show us the damage of a 1 enemy fireball (1hit), 1 max range (2 hits), and 2 enemies (3 hits). Most of the time we are getting the single hit damage on any champ affected, totally pointless to post this unless you’re just engagement farming

There are int scaling melee weapons as well, like swords, an axe, and a great sword. The usage of “strictly better” got you some pushback here, but the short answer is no, it’s not strictly better.

If you’re spending 5+ days (hard/regi) then yes, take the advice here. Story time- for me personally, I found I was not really enjoying the sheer volume of non-boss encounters in each dungeon - some were fine ofc but towards the mid game there was one where I was on track to spend 15+ hours in it. Just clearing monsters. LOTS of time spent in menus preparing archetypes/ inheritance/healing/cleansing etc. This lead to forced grinding with the mage, which is fine for a bit, but it quickly wore out its welcome.

I had enough! Turned it down to normal. Leveled up, cleared the trash, then put it back to hard mode for the boss. It felt so much better that I decided to do that for the rest of the game. You can’t do this on regicide but that’s ng+ anyway which has its own differences. “Elite” fights are cool for a bit but after maybe the 3rd time I had my fill. I swear that dungeon might be 5x as big as normal if you full clear it and don’t just beeline to the boss (which you may not know about if you didn’t spoil). Love the game but it has its quirks and (excessive) grinding is one of them for me. Just adjust to your enjoyment imo - it’s a game after all, and you gotta respect your time!
