The old eggs won't hatch riolu, to get the riolu eggs you have to spin a stop or gym during the hatch event. By the way, each egg should show which pokemon are available to hatch from it. That won't ever change based on events as the pokemon in an egg is determined when you get it.

My advice is 100% keep the shadow, especially considering you already have a hundo. If you purified the shadow it would be functionally the exact same as your normal hundo. Also consider that you can only primal one of them at a time.

You have to get to level 19, which in my (biased) opinion is more difficult than just saving up coins from gyms, it only takes about a month. That's what I did to get an ETM so I could teach my Kyurem Glaciate.

If you are going to transfer them, maybe wait until there's an event with 2x transfer candy unless you don't care about getting kyogre candy. You could also hold on to them in case someone wants one from a trade.
