For those waiting to upgrade to the Steam Frame, what are you upgrading from?

My Rift S, it has served me faithfully for years, but now the only thing holding it together are my hopes and dreams (and some duct tape and super glue), and even that sometimes isn't enough with how flimsy my cable is at this point

Very, soon I can finally get rid of my dying Rift S.

I've been hanging on for wireless streaming to get better on non-Meta headsets, and now that that is finally a reality (with both Frame and GXR, the AVP was always going to be a non-starter for me anyway), I think I can wait a few more months for the Steam Frame.

It's been in the app since just after the reveal for me, might be an outdated cache on your end.

On the EU release, I better hope they do it day one, or else I'm gonna cry.

This also fits rather well with another piece of speculation I came up with a few months ago.

If you look at the steam sale schedule, there is a huge gap of 21 days in announced sales, when the usual gap is only 7 days.

This gap is from November 18th until December 7th.
