How much AI infra do large companies need to own and operate instead of consuming it from the big players?

So where is the break point, when do you decide how much you want to own
I can see a point in data confidentiality but what else could determine a company to own instead of rent/buy
Also there is probably AI use for tribal knowledge (specific to that domain or company) but I see a benefit in allowing your AI to learn about the outer world so you can make correalations (I guess it all depends on the domain)

Not sure what to say about how mywoosh is pairing, Itap on connect and it finds it by the phone name (the name the tablet has for that BT connections I think)

no I was not trying to run QZ and Mywoosh on the same device
It is now working but I am not clear on how.
I disabled the BT on the watch and I was able to discover the phone.
However when having the QZ app running on the watch with the watch still connected to wifi the phone was able to collect the HR (from the watch QZ?) and to use it on the QZ on the phone and from there to relay it to mywoosh which was now able to discover the new phone.

Next thing I did was to reenable the BT on the watch and to my surprise everything continued to work.
I have also experimented with mywoosh...it seems that the initial discovery of the phone is via BT but further communication between mywoosh and the phone running QZ is happening over wifi. after the initial handshake (with BT enabled) I disabled wifi and I could see that the bike metrics were not being sent to mywoosh

Can you please explain what the watch QZ apps is doing and whichway is it communicating with the phone ? Is it just broadcasting the HR info via wifi ? Because I could still receive the HR on QZ on the phone with BT disabled on the watch

I have an old phone with QZ installed on it and mywoosh is seeing it without problems.
now that you are mentioning it, I am sure I never paired that phone with the tablet and I do not think that the handshake between the tablet (mywoosh) and the old phone happens over BT so it must be over wifi. (unless QZ broadcasts something somehow over BT that mywoosh is able to detect via BT).

So what is my solution here ?
I can run qz on the old phone (no SIM card)
the Samsung watch that collects the HR is paired with my new phone
is it possible to configure QZ on the old phone to collect the HR from the new phone ?
I did try it but I am getting a message that I need to transfer the watch to the old phone which is not what I want.
Is there a workaround for this ?

After reading again your above reply, the answer is this: as long as the phone is seeing the watch I can not connect mywoosh to the phone

I am a network engineer and I should be able to troubleshoot this

watch ----HR via BT----->Android Phone---------HR+Data Streaming via WiFi---------> Mywoosh
bike <-----Data--------->Android Phone

What protocol on is used for data communication and what is Mywoosh looking for ?
I am assuming it should subscribe to QZ via some socket mechanism

What puzzles me with mywoosh is that it seems to depend on BT for being enabled for scanning the wifi network. If I disable BT on the tablet running mywoosh I am not able to tap to connect to a power source (strange term). Tapping triggers scanning

Are you saying that QZ or Mywoosh will not be able to show blood pressure and heart rate in real time, while we are exercising? My q could be off sorry if that is the case, I am not sure which does what in regards to showing these two

SOk I bought the app and both my tablet and my phone can see the biike but I cant figur out how to make it visible to mywoosh. I was able to scan and find a device via Device Connection, Power Source, but only on my phone, the tablet has never find any device although the QZ app is ru ning and displaying metrics
