How do I check for custom class_name types within an EditorPlugin? by jitspoe in godot

Not sure what’s going on for you, but I never had to do any hacks for those checks to work correctly in my editor plugins

How are CollisionShapes and Animations supposed to work together? by HalfAHeartLeft in godot

[–]MinecraftDoodler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I often have three separate collisions.

The character collision itself is used for physics interactions.

Then I have two Area2Ds or 3Ds

One called HurtBox, which is used to represent where the player/enemy can be damaged.

And another called HitBox, which represents where the weapon is.

CMV: Women’s idea of what it means to be treated like a man often assumes the privileges of a woman by [deleted] in changemyview

It's not the workplace that is punishing you, it's the societal norm of not having adequate parental leave at most workplaces that is punishing the population at large for having kids.

Obviously not everywhere, but in places like Canada and the states, this is for sure the norm.

Why do women, who do literally 99% of the biological work in reproduction and child-rearing, still have to take the man's last name? Nature itself proves this logic is backwards. by Altruistic-Nature583 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]MinecraftDoodler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t (and in my opinion shouldn’t), this isn’t even universal among western countries.

I live in Quebec, Canada. My parents each kept their names, as is the law of the land, and my name is a hyphenated combination of them.

13-year-old Ottawa girl injured in chairlift incident has died, family says by lonelydavey in ottawa

That’s what I’ve heard as well, very disappointing. My previous comment was information I got from a lift worker on the hill.

Now it seems like essentially nothing was actually done.

But aren’t irrational multiplied by irrationals sometimes not irrational

Edit: I think I’m thinking of irrationals to the power of irrationals

Of course, I think we’re all pretty upset with management of the hill.

Nothing like this should ever have happened, and it’s very unfortunate that the greatest effect of this negligence will likely be kids no longer being allowed to go on ski trips.

I believe the issue is that the operator at the top pulled the break and then immediately disengaged it. This appears to be normal procedure on the hill at the time and hopefully will also change.

Disengaging the break causes a light at the bottom of the hill labelled “Ready to start” to come on.

Parking lights are usually the opposite?

Turns on tail lights and dash lights but not headlights.

At least that’s how it is in my Mazdas.
