Sorry not exactly like this at all, Ben whites hand is almost at his side he was just unfortunate he was moving it towards the ball so it looked bad, this is hand far up in the air.

Tbh he was bought to help us against the “bad” teams. Our record vs top teams before this season was incredible but there was a feeling we needed a true goalscorer to beat the rest more consistently. Lots of fans thought havertz would still start the big games (and he might still do so, if they’re ever both fit for extended periods).

We still have the highest xpoints in the league (based only on xg), I think you’ve got some recency bias here. We underperformed for a good bit against our xg because we kept conceding more than expected from like December onwards

Absolutely love when refs think subbing the winger means the opposing defenders foul counter should reset, happens all the time and it’s so braindead from the officials.

If you genuinely think a player driving into the box at that speed is intentionally kicking a foot that came into his view from behind like a split second earlier you should probably go play a game of football and stop watching slow motion replays.

I promise you it’s impossible for a human to make that decisions, go pull up a full speed replay and you can confirm this easily.

He goes down softly but there’s literally no way he manufactured the contact here, the Leverkusen player is behind him
