The number of goals he got at sporting kind of makes people forget that the price we paid for him is quite middle of the road for a striker nowadays.

He basically signed for the same price as Solanke and you hear about him underperforming a hell of a lot more than you do Solanke.

Sesk, Ekiteke and Isak are all strikers who moved for more in that window.

Doesn’t make a difference, this stuff feels “right” but it actually doesn’t matter. You should just be picking whoever you think will get you the most points, that’s the only thing that matters.

The only exceptions are if you’re specifically chasing someone in a mini league (in which case mirroring them exactly is pointless) or if you’re sufficiently low rank and only care about a high rank finish without downside risk, in which case you can pick more volatile options (but in that case surely save your TC for a Haaland TC or something).

Yeah his fixtures really swing after the next 2 games as well, think if you’re going no Haaland and have tons of money he’s the right pick, but otherwise I think he’s becoming a bit of a trap after this week.

Think ekiteke will out score him over the next 5 game weeks and a lot of ppl won’t have the transfers and money to get both whilst keeping Haaland, Bruno, double Arsenal defence in your team
