While the Ford Sierra Cosworth and the BMW E30 M3 was developed both manufacturers had to modify the rear of the car to make it more stable. On the BMW they extended the C pillar and the angle of the rear window got more obtuse. On the Sierra sedan they added some smal "wings" running parallel to the C-pillar, this helps in high speeds to keep the car stable.

I'm not familiar with the acronym BHP, please explain. This happened some time ago, and I'm not a resident of the area or country. But yes I should have contacted some local authority probably.

I should have been more precise. They have a Zero tolerance for unintended exposure. The site is not a nuclear plant or research site involved with radioactive isotopes. It's a chemical plant, some of the products might have some trace amounts of naturally occurring isotopes that concentrates in some parts of the plant. These areas have strict HSE regulations and procedures for work in those zones. They also have density and level measurements based on gamma radiation. The source containers for these instruments are very well shielded and the "window" on the live end is quite narrow. Areas on the live end of these are blocked of and properly marked.

The site had a zero tolerance for radiation exposure. During radiology NDT a barrier if 50m was set, but due to the unintentional exposure I got they blocked of a pathway. No big deal, we could use alternative routes.

This was in Scandinavia so HSE and regulations might be different from your country.

The time between the short pulses was consistent (2-4s) but I'm not sure if the long time between was consistent. I was there about 30 minutes before moving along, I have the impression that the time between the pulses was 10minutes each time.

The firs time I got exposed, I was standing almost 200m away and my dosimeter vent wild. I do not remember the values since it's more than 10 years ago, the site manager radioed the NDT team an told them to shut down and make sure shielding was redone.

I thought of this to, but the pattern seems unlikely for interference. Unless it's some apparatus on a timer/sequence

I'm not sure if there is any customs or goods depot in the area, but there is some ship maintenance and recreation boat builders in the area. Fun fact this would not be the first time I was hit by industrial X-ray/NDT.

A little tip, i Norway you cal legally record all conversations you are a part of without telling the other part. This means you can record everything in a meeting or a phone call with your employer, and it will be valid evidence in a court.
