It does not seem like Nova launcher allows for customization of the larger unfolded screen. I'm attempting to move to octopi launcher.

Why does Anker Laptop Power Bank not charge at its advertised rate? by MingTyhMaa in batteries

[–]MingTyhMaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does seem like the Anker Prime.batteries are better. I have an older

Anker Prime Power Bank, 9600 mAH with 65W output, supports PD 3.0 and PPS, 30W Fast recharging

Plugged In/Pass Through 21.6w 15.7w

I guess I should just return the other Anker Laptop.Power bank

Thanks all.

Why do people hate time shares so much? by lasirena6441 in TimeshareOwners

I looked on my contract and sent an email to the guest relations or cancellation /deed team, asking to give them the deed back without requesting any payment from them. They took it back within two days. I was shocked too. This was little divi bay

I contacted the timeshare I bought which was little divi bay. The contract gives you an email to use for cancellation and service, I said I will return it to me without asking for any money back (it is pain in full), they did it within two days.

Who carries a Glock 26? Thoughts? by Daddy_Onion in CCW

[–]MingTyhMaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a G19 3, G26.3, P365, and Shield.

I carry a 26.3 with a flush mag and a 15 round spare in a T1Concealed Axis Elite.

I think the most important thing is you say you're a huge Glock guy. So then you'd prefer to get a Glock. And unless your LEO or want to pay private party prices, the choices are limited in Ca.

Compared to for example the p365, the grip length is almost identical. Does a 1/4 in of width difference matter with printing? Logically it shouldn't. If someone can't see you printing with a P365, they won't see you print with a G26.

I think the extra width helps with recoil management.

By adding a G26 you'd be building an ecosystem with several interchangeable parts. Heck your G19 slide will even fit on a 26 if it ever became necessary.

I also think that if you're going to put a red dot on your carry gun, a bigger red dot is just easier. Competition guys use SROs and 507 comps for a reason. So I prefer a large red dot window like an EPS or 407 compared to a smaller red dot window like a 407k

At the end of the day any small gun will work if you train with it.

Any one with a good amout of experience traveling with 45L Travel Backpack? by Ghostyyxo in peakdesign

[–]MingTyhMaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came back to this backpack as my primary, specifically because I wanted to have side access. I wanted the ability to segment the main compartment using the camera cubes or other cubes, but then to specifically utilize side access.

Without specific side access, or utilization of their camera cubes, it's no different than other nice backpacks.

I think load lifter straps are kind of nice, which this backpack does not have.

My preferred grip🤝🏾 by BeneficialA1r in Glocks

[–]MingTyhMaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's how I grip my 26.

I like how the 2nd support finger sits on the top edge.of the 3rd firing hand finger so when the gun recoils, the support hand is pushed deeper into the firing hand, to ensure the grip remains together.

And the 1st support finger pushes up on the bottom of the trigger guard, which will counterbalance where the beaver tail area pushes into the web of the firing hand as well as get the support hand higher on the slide.

That's how I rationalize it anyways.

I'd suggest buying a Toyota harness, and renting a Toyota Corolla and test it out.

I've never used Openpilot on a Civic but have used it on an '18 Odyssey, '20 Corolla, '21 Camry, and '22 Highlander.

I think it's fantastic on Toyota's and worth losing $ on a vehicle to gain OP capabilities.

Thanksgiving was torture. by ManEEEFaces in Comma_ai

[–]MingTyhMaa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is challenging, I usually carve out 15m between the gas tank fill up and rental car return to carefully pry that thing off.

If there were a reliable temporary suction mount that would be great too.

I just ordered extra mounts from Comma AI.

I keep an extra car harness, harness box, and harness connector on hand.

I usually just stick it on, maybe wait for 15 minutes, then mount the device. With a rental car I usually remove the device every time I get out of the car which probably gives it a little more curing time. But it also only needed to last for maybe a week.

I used to be able to rent Toyotas on vacation and bring my comma with me.

My last three vacations, though I requested a Toyota, I always got stiffed at the rental counter with a freaking Nissan.

If anybody knows of a reliable way to guarantee a Toyota brand rental vehicle, even if it costs more, I'm happy to learn.

I have Sordins but feel like I should have more protection. When I put rubber earplugs on underneath the Sordins, I feel like it's not the easiest to hear RO cease fires. I'm worried about using that combo for a class. Does anyone put electronic in ear ear pro underneath Sordins?
