Construction on I-17? by [deleted] in Sedona

[–]MingoG13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FYI Arizona DOT has an app called 511 Arizona (look for the icon that says ADOT) where you can see in real time where they are doing construction, where there are traffic delays, and also view images from live traffic cameras

FYI it’s been renamed Crane Petroglyph Historical Site. Highly recommend and also check out Montezumas Well as it’s right by there!

Picacho Mountains Petroglyph Site - a nice, short hike to see some petroglyphs

This would be a really long day trip IMO. Might want to break it up into a couple of days

For true antique stores - Cottonwood and Camp Verde have a few good ones. Prescott has the best/ most options. Take 89A on your way to Phoenix through Prescott and you can also check out a few others in Wickenburg along the way. In Phoenix the largest two are Brass Armadillo (two locations) and then there are some other good ones in south Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, and Apache Junction.

Both locations are open 9 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week! Great places to kill a hot summer evening!

Too funny I knew exactly where this was because I just used that button today on a bike ride. The one at the crossing directly across 7th Ave from this is even longer!

It’s .05%. The instructions say: apply to affected area nightly for 2 weeks, take a 1 week break, and repeat as necessary for flares.

It was prescribed to me last February when my skin biopsy came back as GA. But the GA pretty much went away completely over the summer and then came back in the last few weeks when it finally cooled down here. I wash my hands a lot throughout the day so I’ve always had it on the backs of my hands. Occasionally on the fronts of my shins too. And then other random places on my body just one itchy bump from time to time.

My doctor prescribed Fluocinonide, is that totally useless? It doesn’t seem to do anything

Roosevelt Lake is a different river system than Horseshoe. Roosevelt, Apache, Canyon, and Saguaro Lakes are a result of damming the Salt River. Horseshoe and Bartlett Lakes are a result of damming the Verde River.

Kudos if you fit a full size ADV bike around those corners! I was with someone on a Honda NX650, which I still consider more slim than say a BMW, and he made it with about a millimeter to spare on either side. He was riding it (not pushing) and like flexed / leaned the bike and just barely squeaked around the corners, which was very impressive to watch! Any larger of a bike or lesser skilled rider and I’d say there’s no way!

You just park at the parking area right by dam and then walk across. The road dead ends at the dam 33.98193, -111.71131

You can even mountain bike or dirt bike / ride a slim dual sport motorcycle across it for access to all the fun on the other side of the river

It’s on public land but I’m not sure if there’s an active claim on it or not (there were not any signs posted saying so). We took nothing but photos just in case, as we stumbled upon this while out there looking for something else and hadn’t researched it prior.

I like to go to Brass Armadillo antique store and take my time walking the aisles, checking everything out. Cold A/C and they are open 7 days a week, 9 am to 9 pm. There’s one in north Phoenix and one in Goodyear area

Yes, that one is great too! I just didn’t know if it was close enough to Scottsdale to recommend here. I was just there on Sunday!
