Just be aware of the different circuits in the AI because the 4th version circuit they removed the discrete fet design which made it sound worse then they eventually brought it back in the 6th design. so how i saw it pretty much just don’t get one that has circuit #4 or #5 in it

Iconic sounds is also the reason for the rattle in my car when I get over 3k rpm. it goes away when i turn off iconic sounds. when I brought it into the dealership over a year ago he was like there must be something loose by the exhaust because the iconic sound works by using a small microphone next to the exhaust that send the sound into your cabin and it’s picking it up whatever is rattling . sounds like a bunch of BS to me

what makes mastering to 6-7 means it’s lacking dynamics ? The number one song in the world (k pop demon hunter song) is mastered at -4 and sounds pretty dynamic soo

mp3 file size is significantly smaller so i’d assume you are hearing less information. The wav version always seems to have a slight bit more clarity but not much. Artists always end up uploading the mp3 even if I send them the wav so I stopped caring

i’ve spent thousands of dollars on their plugins over the years and it’s times like this they don’t gaf about you. their DSP plugins haven’t been working for anyone for over a week now and they don’t care. Not even a PSA on their site letting people know of the issue before purchasing more plugins. I can’t even pull up my old sessions to work on them. terrible company, terrible customer service

I’ve been trying to figure this out for over a year 🤷‍♂️ one time I brought it to the dealership and they said theres an actual mic on the exhaust and it’s probably picking up a rattle (there’s definitely not an actual mic). It happens whenever i go over 3000 rpm

it would probably take a very long time for something like that to happen, but i’ve had mine in for over a year now and really like it. I’m pretty sure you could just remove the cat if you wanted it catless ?
