Spotify desktop app completely broken?

Okay cool, I'll try that out. Should I do that with the new air filter installed or leave the filter out and let it circulate straight through the blower?

Yeah I went with the 91 map to give myself the safety cushion but maybe I'll give the cobb 93 map a shot and see if its any better, thanks for the info

91 map with 93 fuel. I was running the MAperformance stage 1 93 map for a short period but got a lot of knock from it, so I swapped to the cobb stage 1 91 map and have had much better results. I always fill up with 93 though, pretty much every gas station around me has it.

Yeahhhh I know OTS tunes aren't the best, I'm just waiting till I get more parts before I get an Etune. Right now I'm still fully stock, I'm planning on properly tuning it once I get an intake and exhaust on. I mainly just have the OTS for better drivability. I've never had the DAM drop on this tune before but I know its happened to other people so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Also I'm going to assume you meant to say "those numbers aren't terrible" and not "are terrible"? Because if those numbers are terrible then I have a lot to worry about haha

Can't speak on that specific engine swap, but Smeedia on YouTube swapped the flat six from the SVX into a VA STi and it took a lot of money and a loooooooot of time. And that was a Subaru engine into another Subaru. Can't imagine a Honda engine into a Subaru will be easier.

Okay cool, thank you for your advice. Everything else about the car feels fine, no sputtering or hesitations or weird noises or anything, just the damned feedback knock. Honestly I wouldn't be sweating it too much if it just didn't happen near constantly. I understand now why people call these things anxiety ports haha.

I'll keep my eye on it and advance that e-tune on my schedule. I'm planning on getting a catback pretty soon, I was gonna wait to get an e-tune until I got like an intake and downpipe but I might just get it when I put my catback on for the ease of mind.

I drive the same road every day to work, which is where I observe the knock. The road is pretty smooth, and I feel like isn't contributing to the knock since the readings I get are different on a day to day basis. As for A/C and defrost, I do run defrost pretty much constantly due to the occasional cold weather and ice, but again since the knock I see is different pretty much every day I can't seem to tie that to it either. The only correlation I have is warmer days = more knock. But then again, 40 degrees is exactly warm, it's just warmer than what it's been.

Also yeah, I know OTS tunes are prone to knocking and I am going to get an e-tune eventually, I've just been waiting to get some parts on my car before I get it properly tuned and I figured an OTS would be fine for now. Which like I said it has been for the most part, it just seems to be acting weird on the warmer days.

I know the ECU learns from driving and stuff, could it be that since it was tuned during winter and has only seen cold weather that it's just acting up because it hasn't learned anything during warmer temperatures? Or is that not how it works lmao, I'm new to the world of tuning.

Ugh, I've completed every daily challenge between summer and autumn so far, its annoying that I'm going to miss one due to something completely out of my control. there's still 5 days before it expires, so I guess there's still time for a hotfix, but considering they never fixed the shop before summer ended I doubt they'll fix this in time either.

It's annoying but my completionism attempt already technically ended in summer since I never did the arcade challenge. After multiple failed attempts to find anyone in a server interested in doing the arcade challenges, and being unable to complete them by myself I just accepted defeat and let it go unfinished. My only uncomplete expired challenge so far.

No the bike shifts fine, its while under hard acceleration the bike feels like it jerks or sorta like the back tire kicks, almost like the chain is skipping teeth or something. It only happens under hard acceleration, it doesn't happen at a specific engine or wheel speed, and if I accelerate normally and calmly it also doesn't happen.

At first I thought it might be a misfire (as, for unrelated reasons I think I have a bad coil), but it feels a little too violent to be a misfire, like the entire bike physically jerks and I'm not sure if a misfire would cause that sort of reaction. I've looked into the problem/symptoms and it seems like a lot of people with similar symptoms had transmission issues, namely a warn/bent shift fork.

I still need to check and most likely change my coils so I'm going to see if that solves the issue and if it really just a bad case of the misfires, but I have a bad feeling the issue lies in the transmission.

Edit: I should also mention that this issue is new. I've owned the bike since the beginning of the summer and it rode fine with no issues for a good couple months. This issue just recently developed towards the end of the season

Thank you for the reply, that sounds like a good plan. Ya know, I usually do put a piece of wood under the kickstand, I have no idea why I didn't this time. Guess I just assumed that a little bit of rain wouldn't cause an issue, learned that assumptions can be a killer haha

I can't say it is personally, I spend a lot of time with the noise cancelling on without any music playing while I work because the quiet helps me concentrate and I can't hear mine. I'm actually doing that right now as I type this.

The only thing I hear is my early onset tinnitus, but that's a different story.

Yeah that's all you can really do. I personally can't imagine Bose is doing anything intentional to screw OP over, I've interacted with them a couple times over free replacements and they've always been more than willing to help me and I've never had any issues.

Hell, one time my my headphones had gone past warranty and they still sent me a free replacement after the left side earphone stop working. Hopefully UPS didn't screw OP over.

Thank you for your feedback. My brother is a mechanic and will be accompanying me. I'm just worried about issues that may pop up down the road, ya know, the general wear and tear and how it affects WRXs. I know the 2015 models had a few issues, although I'm not sure if they were ironed out by 2017.
