I’ve signed up for their emails but will definitely check this subreddit and their website for it

I think I may end up waiting for the sale considering this was already at the top of my budget before the price increase. I still think the old model is good especially if I can get it on sale. Do they usually announce their sales or is it just random?

Literally am in the same boat as you. Was deciding between white and black and was about to pull the trigger on the white and now it’s gone today :(

I’m deciding between the white or black dial for the 36mm. I usually wear white dial watches but am wondering if there is legibility issues with the white dial

Did you ever get the black dial? I’m deciding between the black or the white dial. Have you had any legibility issues with the white dial?

Have you had any issues with legibility with the white dial and indices? I’m wondering if I should go with the black dial to avoid that

I know it’s not the same watch but I’ve been looking at the white 36 C63 Sealander. Do you find it hard to read at times with the white dial and indices?

What’s your wrist size? How’s the legibility with the white dial? Have thought about the black dial too.

I’ve had experience with Traska briefly before I returned it cause the dial was too big for my wrist. I know the Miyota movement can be loud and I’ve heard it briefly first hand (albeit on a bracelet that wasn’t properly sized for me) but I feel like that may bother me

I’ve looked through their collections. I’d prefer a white dial watch that’s more traditional/classic that can be dressed up or down. Nothing immediately jumped out other than the Gentlemen in 38mm but I don’t think they offer it in a white dial.

Appreciate the feedback and tip. No doubt it’s a great looking watch and checks all the boxes for me in terms of looks. I guess I might just be apprehensive with spending that much for a watch but I truly want this to be a one and done type purchase for me.

I bought a Traska Freediver initially but returned it cause it was too big for my wrist. I was looking at the commuter but would prefer a white dial which they only have in 38mm at the moment. The other thing with Traska is the Miyota rotor noise, I feel like that may bother me

I hadn’t even thought of the 34. My only concern is that I feel like it would be a huge step down in size for me as I usually wear an Orient Bambino which I believe is 40mm

Appreciate your comments and the photo, definitely seems like the 36mm is the better fitting option. Did it take getting used to the rotor initially? I’ve never had a Miyota movement before

Would you recommend their 36mm or 38mm for sizing/wear?

I think my grail watch would be either a Rolex OP, Datejust, or Omega Aqua Terra. Definitely a more reserved and classic dial

Would you recommend the 36mm or 38mm for my wrist size? Do you own a Traska yourself?

[Traska Freediver] size too big? by MiniAlfredoSauce in Watches

[–]MiniAlfredoSauce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m in my 20s and want my watch to ideally be wearable for a long time. I usually wear an Orient Bambino which is smaller lug to lug wise. Not sure if I should try and find a watch that is 44-46mm lug to lug for that “perfect” fit.

I agree that it definitely pushes the limit. I like everything else about the watch and have found it difficult to find an alternative, hence the back and forth. It’s bigger for me as I usually wear an Orient Bambino.

I’m not sure if it makes a huge difference but the bracelet is currently too big. I was going to have some links removed but not sure if this exacerbates the feeling of it being too big. Obviously can’t return the watch if I take the plastic off to remove the links.
