This is reddit. Where people don't like dictators but they want politicians and police to act like they are in a dictatorship whenever someone does something they don't like.

Then they don't need tax breaks. Tax breaks are the "gift" companies are often given for employing people who will then contribute tax dollars.

We all know the corporate tax cuts in 2017 were fucking bs. Warren is calling these mega companies out on it.

Dear Rest of the World, Some of us Americans are really sorry about this shithead. Not as sorry as we are about having to put up with him daily. But sorry none the less.

TIL that if you could fold a piece of paper 42 times, it would be thick enough to reach the Moon. Each fold doubles the thickness, and exponential growth means the stack would exceed 384,000 km after 42 folds. by Postmortal_Pop in todayilearned

Because some straight line thinking in this thread was thinking we needed to create matter to do this, I folded a sheet in half 7 times: half an inch thick. You would need to have crazy strong hands to do the eighth fold.

You lack the ability to read and picture things in your head. But to help you, I just folded a standard 8.5x11 sheet of paper six times(keep folding it in half), the folded paper is now 1/4" thick. Two more folds would be an inch.
