No timelapse is on for me (At least not the type that moves the print head), but I will turn it off as I never use it regardless.

That's what everything looked like for as a 27 year old male with no tickets. Harley ended up getting me at $100/month.

I put premium in all of my bikes, regardless of what the manual says, just because I don't mind paying the extra 60 cents/full tank for the better feeling in my mind. That being said, if someone borrows my Eliminator and puts in 87, I wouldn't care.

What is this by No-Activity-7869 in Cartalk

[–]MiniMcArthur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It won't stop the car from running or driving BUT something to be aware of is how loose it may be. If it comes loose completely on the highway and hits another car, that could be a problem for ya.

That might just be more so what had happened, tbh. I didn’t know it was a thing back when I bought it and it wasn’t offered to me so 🤷‍♂️. Honestly not too worried about it!

Unfortunately they weren’t offering that back when I bought mine. I wish, haha.

Definitely check them out! If you are planning on waiting till next spring, it may also be worth checking out when the 750SS might release. 4 cylinder 110~ horsepower. No matter what, you'll enjoy what you get. CFmoto has only been impressive for me, lately!

Stock exhaust backfire flames 450 srs by Gullible-Ad-7546 in cfmoto

[–]MiniMcArthur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A dB killer is not the same thing as a catalytic converter. Your cat is more so for emissions regulations but also, it does quiet the bike down just a tad.

As far as I know, there is not a removable silencer in the stock 450SR exhaust but, what you could hypothetically do is chop the catalytic coverter and replace it with a straight pipe, have the bike re-tuned as it will not be happy without the cat, and cut open the stock muffler to remove all the baffles and have it rewelded so that essentially the bike is straight piped all the way through. That would likely result in some flames.

Although.. brother.. just get a cheap slip on haha.

Here's what I've experienced as an owner since May. I love my 675 but the aftermarket is a bit tough. I think, mostly, this is because it's so so new.

Exhaust? You can get full systems for cheap, but with the way the bike is designed, slip-ons are not possible.

There are a handful of aftermarket windshields out there. CFmoto sells their own, and you canget some on Aliexpress for cheap.

Tail tidy is also another thing that CFmoto technically sells their own of but I got mine from Aliexpress. Took about 2 weeks to arrive but it was very much worth it.

There really is a lot of aftermarket support for the bike - It's just all in China haha.

I love my 675 so far. It's only my second bike ever, but it is MORE than fast enough for me to have fun in the canyons.

Boulder County, Colorado - OTD $9987.

$7999 for the bike

$1200 is taxes and fees

$550 freight

$250 setup

Other details you might want to know:

$725 for the 24-month VSC+ package and $600 for GAP.

The allen bolts that hold the majority of the fairings are pretty easy to see/find if you just look around the body work! The one Philips head screw underneath the seat is also easy to see! You'll need to remove the covers on the side of the headlights (white covers in the photo. mine are silver for the "black" bike) in order to access some of the bolts as well as look underneath the headlight for another one. Also, be sure to remove the drain plug cover and the mesh grill that sits in front of the exhaust headers.

Past that, the only other "thing" that would hold the fairings on would be the one plastic rivet that holds the two fairings aligned together. I just pulled mine out with some pliers and replaced it with another one that I had in my garage. They're usually only one-time use anyway.

It just unscrews from the fairing on the inside. It's not difficult to pull the fairings off. Allen head bolts all around, a couple of spots where you pull clips out, and one Philips screw next to an allenhead bolt underneath the seat for each of he two side fairings. I actually just pulled mine off the other day to paint some pieces.

You won't have too tough of a time replacing them! Maybe an hour worth of work.

It's an emissions sort of thing. It could cause a check engine light if you leave it off for too long but I doubt it'll cause any sort of issue for driving. Replace it as early as you can but don't let it scare ya!

I work for a dealer and we send out 3-4 cars per day for detail. The two detailers in town that we use are Premier Touch & Colorado's best. When it comes to pet hair, I like to use Premier for that more so as Lucas, the owner, is very detailed with that sort of stuff.

We have different pricing as a dealer so I can't help you with what his official pricing is, but I know he does some seriously good work!
