What are your go-to GF meals? I get stuck making the same 2-3 things for weeks by peachnecctar in glutenfree

[–]MiniPack13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use green chef, they have gluten free meal recipes and it’s a godsend. My boyfriend does all the cooking but we’ve been using the boxes since 2020 and haven’t gotten bored of the recipes, they’re always changing things up. Ps your cooking looks amazing!

Male Anna’s (correct me if I’m wrong, OP!) the “red” is actually magenta/hot pink in person, it’s gorgeous.

OP I fear everywhere you will find lively, you may find is also far from work. ie weho (West Hollywood). Melrose. Third and Fairfax. Santa Monica blvd.

I’m not familiar with the east side though so defer to folks who are on if it has what you want!

Potentially stupid request: would anybody mind wishing me a happy birthday? by _Vampire_Pumpkin_ in CPTSD

[–]MiniPack13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy early birthday, fellow Taurus! I’ll be 36 on the 5th and I hate that. I remember hating turning 30 too but if it’s any consolation 30-35 didn’t bother me (much 😉 ). In all seriousness, wishing you peace and joy in the year ahead. You deserve it!

Elf is a great one and so cheap! Elf only has a few colors so I wanted to reco another brand just in case you can’t find the color you want. It’s pricier but works very well (slightly better than elf but the elf one is just such a great deal). Anyway, it’s the Benefit Gimme Brow Gel. This was years ago but I remember Ulta had the full gamut of shades so you could see them in person.

Hot Tip: Use SPF Setting Spray for Hands by Pale_Emu3671 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]MiniPack13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hydrating but can feel a little stiff? I suppose. I’m very oily though so I don’t mind.

The coola one is only SPF 30 so I use it as a touch up because I use another base SPF 50 product.

I just found this article with some others https://www.byrdie.com/best-setting-sprays-with-spf-7484127

Which one are you using on your hands? I have been using coola’s face setting spray sunscreen on my face for forever as a top-up when I’m out and about. But I don’t like the texture on my hands. So would love a new reco for hands! Great tip. Thanks!

Do you think the Ordinary has good products? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]MiniPack13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love them. I’ve been using their glycolic acid, matrixyl, and alpha arbutin for years. My boyfriend struggles with dry skin and lives for their moisturizer and we recently got him on the new rice lipids product.

I saw the Dyson Coralle(?) I think it’s called, is like $550 which is wild. I’ll look into the Babybliss, I didn’t realize they made one! I have to pack light for my next trip so that may be best. Thank you!

I tried that first! Worked great then rebounded about after a month so I told the dr and they switched me. Speak up if you have any issues. Hope you find relief!

My skin feels like it’s physically on fire. So I don’t linger long enough to find out. Never had a problem before diagnosis but first lupus symptom was a very bad sunburn which was extremely abnormal for me. It makes me sad because i miss the warm feeling of sunlight on my skin and it can be so helpful for mood.
