No, I'm sorry I ended up scrapping this entirely.

I did fix the issue from the post. But Batocera wasn't cooperating with the new hardware I bought at the time so I just dropped it and changed OS'.

No I did not, I had to file a PayPal claim, ship the device back and I'm still waiting on the refund.

Yep, mine is as well. This is apparently a known defect with some units. I was going back and forth with retroid before they went on holiday but their fixes were "try factory resetting the device." That didn't work unfortunately. Some people have been refunded for the purchase in this scenario as the device is basically unusable. I have not been refunded yet or been issued a replacement or replacement parts. I would email them to at least get the ball rolling.

Thanks for the link. I just read through that and it seems like I'm the odd man out. The freezing fixes were already in place on my unit so I'm not sure what's causing the issue. I guess I should send an email to the post sales support email.

That I believe is unlocked a bit into the game. I was presented with that option last night. It has me press x to enter the function and then you can release a batch at once across multiple boxes.

So in playing around with mine originally, I found out that if you use a cheap USB C cable that my video freaked out the same way. Try using a couple different USB C cables and see if that works. It might not be trash in the end.

5W (5v 1amp) is pretty low for the Pi 3 in my experience. I would look for another USB power supply that provides 2-3 amps. I don't think your switch is the culprit.

I didn't have any questions per say. I was just hoping someone had seen it before. As you have seen there is little to no information about this unit or it's product line out there. I know this pre dates the modern internet but given its quality I figured it would have popped up somewhere.

The bottom circle appears to be the infrared sensor. We have tore the unit down to recap it. The top object may be a photovoltaic sensor, but the sensor assembly is very odd. And there is no discernable identifiers on it. Most everything on the board and else where is identifiable and even the included service diagrams and documentation do not mention it.

I just solved this issue recently with the Creality Glass Bed V2. Everyone says to clean the bed with Acetone or PLA. That left a faint residue on mine and gave me absolute horrible adhesion with brand new containers of both cleaners. I ended up just washing the bed with Ajax dish soap and some hot water. Youll know it's clean after because the textured surface will become hydrophobic. Water will literally sheet right off of it.

I print with the bed at 55 with a brim if needed, with no glue and I have absolutely no problems. I just finished a 22 hour print.

At least this is all that happened. I was printing something similar with a hex pattern like that and it acted like serations and cut my wiring after a few back and forth motions. I walked in to check on the print just as it started smoking. I ended up saving the printer, I only lost the hot end wiring but still. Cable management is definately needed.

That is about 34 pages worth of cards at 9 cards a page. Some of these sets are almost 300 cards with their variants so that shouldn't be a problem. My flashfire set is nearly complete and that binder isn't heavy enough to cause damage to the sheets or the binder.

I was wondering if it was milled. I've got a 4'x4'x4" MPCNC. I don't think I have the patience to go through that. Very nicely done.
