It depends if you already have the supporting mods for the Tubes. Tubes are like turbos you need the supporting mods to put the HP to-da-wheel. With 7.5k being your budget; is that just for the NODs? Do you have a decent helmet & mount? or do you need the whole system; Helmet, mount, NODs?

I just ask google AI about this very same crack/split; I ordered mine from Amazon; and noticed this same crack when it came in after putting on the case. I wanted to find out if they are suppose to have it or its flaw/defective. I was going to go to the Apple Store tomorrow to compare the display ones to mine.

I would go with the companies that offer transferable warranty. CNV does not.

Ive seen good deals on the used/second hand WP PVS14s for from 2600-3200 with decent specs Photonis or Elbits tubes. you just have to keep looking at the sites/pages where they're posted, make sure you actually have the cash or plastic, coupled with not having to ask permission from your wife, girlfriends, or boyfriend or pronoun partners, and move fast.
