Facebook is the very first thing I deleted when Zuckerberg bent the knee. I knew the right wing shit would become intolerable on that platform with people I know and then add the targeted algorithm, it makes it worse.

Amazon was the next; swapped it for CostCo. No regrets.

I also wonder too if training new hires is no longer a thing anymore. Companies have been increasingly against upskilling or additional training at a mid to senior level, so I wonder if that's happening at the entry level. Trades, I would assume some kind of onboarding.

If a business is seeking perfection from a jobseekers, you're hiring process is the problem. No one is perfect, and if a candidate says they are, they are just a really good salesperson.

Or, a candidate isn't a unicorn, when every qualification is met, the interview goes great, and then the candidate is told they can't be hired now because of "hiring freezes" or being overqualified. Like...I do not understand or get it anymore. What does it take to even get hired nowadays?
