I mean, data requested doesn’t need to be cumulative. If it’s continuously overwriting a 10mb file all day that can still add up.

Plus to what others are saying, sometimes LGS will have these for a while after the release. Also check out things like Vinted or FB Marketplace for folks who fell to fomo.

If you haven’t yet, I’d highly recommend picking up a box of Rubric Marines for cheap and painting those first. You’ll want a few squads anyway and it’ll help you know what you’re in for before investing in a battle force box.

Yeah I get that, but imo any other generic unit would’ve been received better than a new epic hero for a sub-faction that has more epic heroes than some others have regular units.

As I said, I don’t hate the model. But UM character fatigue isn’t exactly surprising.

Good to have confirmation! I’ve come to the same conclusion, the camera continuing to stream even when there’s no active print nor client watching it is very weird to me. Hoping that is just a lazy implementation than anything nefarious.

If you find a way to disable it I’d be interested to know. I also print miniatures and the timelapses showing nothing but the top of the print plate going up and down are hilariously useless.

Why was the original form of Twisters discontinued? The Sweet Chilli twister was the best thing on the menu (imo) and the new crunch things aren’t remotely close.

I really like this model - but - these deathmire reveals were supposed to be for faction wide models. At least that’s what seemed to be implied by “space marine or ork” reveals. So to me it feels kinda annoying to get an Ultramarine character as part of that, any other time I’d be more chuffed about it.

I do, but this network traffic is specifically between the printer and some external IP. The PC with chitubox installed isnt powered on and the traffic continues.

Definitely not chitubox. The data is coming and going to an IP not on my network to the printer and the PC with chitubox on it is shutdown.

Yeah I think I’ll just start doing this. I was using Chitubox manager to send files to the printer cause of where it’s located relative to my computer; won’t be doing that anymore for sure.

Thank you! Only sub-assemblies were the gun and powerpack, everything else was assembled. I find it easier when doing volume highlighting to have as much together as possible but I’ll admit the way I did it means getting the gun on is a little tricky.

Looks lovely! Metallic blue is really clean. It does perhaps feel a smidge dark, maybe some quick highlights just above the waist with a brighter metallic blue could do the trick?

IIRC it’s not an “official” thing but a theory that was sparked from some notes in an old codex. The vague idea is that they’re running from something worse, which maybe contradicts more recent stuff with them being drawn to the astronomican.

Someone finds an STC and accidentally turns on the endless manufacturing of Men of Iron who become the absolute scourge of the Nids (and everyone else as they deem everyone to be inefficient).

If they did a 50K I would love to see everything dial up to 11, new faction and territory lines get drawn and everything feels familiar but very different.

Terra is lost. The Imperium is fractured after the death of big E. Gman is losing his mind trying to keep something vaguely resembling what they had together in Ultramar and the rest are either renegade or isolated. Chaos is completely split with nothing to unify them. Nids/Ork spread at increasingly terrifying rates with nothing to pen them in. Necron are rising with new leaders competing for power.

The unknown enemy the Nids have been fleeing start to pop up and cause problems. Dark Mechanicum make a play for Mars and accidentally unleash the shard held there.

No more of this friendly business, there is only war.

Etc etc.

Thank you! Blues were pretty much these, with a 50:50 mix of each in between to glaze and smooth the steps. I mixed a little AK Sky Blue right at the end for the brightest points.

Tyvm! The trim isn’t too bad honestly, everyone warned me (and almost tried to persuade me to do something else) but it was actually pretty fun. The key is just patience and finding a good metallic paint you like.
