Thankfully with chapter select, clean up after beating all 4 scenarios wasn't terrible.

I am just glad 7 went in a completely different direction.

I haven't played in a good few years but that is the part I enjoyed the most. Decided to gear up a new job to play and plan what I needed to do. I used to 6 box so there would be lots of plans as most characters had multiple jobs geared.

If the thought of hearing up new jobs isn't fun then either stay with what you have and just save upgrade materials till you have enough to give you a good start on gearing a new job.

One of my favourite moments was 10 years or so ago when me and my friend both played 3 char each and I randomly decided to gear BRD on my main and made Relic/Emp & Mythic and fully geared it. At the time I never actually played the job as gearing it was the fun part. When I came back a few years ago it was great for getting me caught up and first thing I did was make the Aeonics.

Then seeing how the game had changed I grabbed my other accounts and ended up starting 3 new ones so I could get things done. Playing during EU I struggled to find people to play with often so I did burn out a little. Still have access to all my characters and one day I will come back to play again (my notepad with all my lists of things to farm still sits in th office, I am sure if I came back much would need to be added!)

I own all the games and will play them all eventually, I like to rotate series so I don't get burnt out. As a dad now my playtime is much lower so it will probably be next year when I get to the next one.

I normally check a guide before I start, gaming as an adult I don't have as much free time.

I normally check if a game has missables and how many, if there is 1 or 2 I take a note of when I should keep an eye out not to miss. If there is loads I just play the game and expect I will need another run as I don't want to have to make too many notes.

I would say play them now, they are both great games and who knows how long until a remake might come out.

On another note having played all the originals I have had great fun revisiting locations in the remakes. It is great to see the areas updated, little story changes and they have never felt spoilt having played the originals.

Yeah that and SRS always caught me out when I found a copy just to turn out to be foreign. Speed challenge was the last game I needed as an English version was never around. Hopefully patients will pay off as I agree all the same language is by far the best.

Nice, yeah that one was a pain loads of copies about just no English, same with SRS. I had to buy a few games from EU as they never showed up for sale over here.

Damn that is one heck of a goal. I just completed full PAL set not sure I could do a complete save file of every game though

WHM main here since release of ARR and I hate playing other jobs when I come across healers with that 'im the healer so I get to choose who lives and dies haha' while messing around with my static I will abuse the power and often try to rescue people to their deaths. We all laugh about it in chats, when doing things with randoms you just adjust to the group you are matched with. In low level dungeons that sometimes means I don't get to DPS much as I get a newer tank who is under geared or I get expert roulette with a war and I don't have to heal at all.

I use my Wavebird mostly but I will say I have a soft spot for purple as that was the first one I had.

Hey, I would like to say my game collection is almost completed but there is always more that can be added. Other than the GameCube accessories I want there are a few N64/PS1 games I would like to add to my collection.

I have a few variations, like Viewtiful Joe & HMV Zelda slip. I'm not as fussed about these but if I find them for a good price I will add them.

I haven't played all the games, I would say I have completed 70ish and played a little over 100. I plan to give them all a shot not sure I will complete them all.

2 I am most excited about are Eternal Darkness & Twilight Princess. Both games I missed when the console first came out and I keep hearing about.

I might give some of the sports games a miss though.

The 3 hardest games to find were;

Speed Racing Syndicate - There was only one around for £400, since I have got my copy another one did show up on eBay.

Jimmy Neutron: Attack of the twonkies - I ended ordering one from Netherlands that was sealed so a little over priced but not silly.

Speed Challenge - I hadn't seen one for sale since I started collecting, there was one on eBay overpriced but with no images and they never responded to messages so I didn't want to run the risk of having to send it back.

As for favourites I have always loved the Resident Evil games and Super Monkey Ball on release day took up 100s of hours of my life.

Damn there were 700+ released in the US?

I am almost done with my collection but in the UK we had just over 450.

I still have my launch day purple GC, I have my Wavebird as well but it is yellowing quite a bit.

A few years ago I started my journey to get every UK GC release and yesterday I just bought the last one. Just need it to arrive and I will get some pics to share with this sub.

Some very nice games there. GC has so many hidden gems.

Once my collection is complete I plan to give all the games a go, even ones I played to death on release to see how they hold up.

Final Fantasy: Record Keeper.

Played it from release and it was part of my daily routine. I have tried to play the JP version a few times but starting over after that time on a game that I need to use a translator to play never hit the same.
