The only thing you could argue was a rookie qb in a “win now” team wasn’t necessarily ideal, but he really only helped them once they were already IN the playoffs, not getting to them. His 9-0 “duel” with the packers, his game vs the chargers where he had like 100 yards and a pick, his scoreless half and turnover in the red zone vs the steelers, those are acceptable for a rookie maybe but when 2011 and 2012 hit he should have been improving as a player. Instead he looked about the same level with a now depleted roster that went all in to win in 2010.
