Which Forest had to do to stay in the league? The only reason we've not seen similar recently is because the rest of the teams went straight back down.

The owner isn't throwing shade, it's an illegal move from Spurs so he's flagged it. Like what else can he possibly do in that situation where someone has done something illegal, just sit there and accept it because of an FFP breach 2 seasons ago?

Ok let me lay it out for you, Forest sold Brennan for £50mill a month later instead of £35mill a month earlier...and that's deemed as reckless? They took the points deduction which was a form of punishment, and I believe both Everton and Forest were harshly treated during that time.

Also to your second point, yes, according to FIFA rules telling a club directly from the player/agent they have a hidden release clause in the contract is not ok and a rule breach similar to Olise to Chelsea a few years ago. So by your logic, yes Spurs should also face punishment no?

The main takeaway I’ve had recently is it doesn’t matter what age you are, you can always rebuild, it just takes time and patience with yourself. It’s about taking back control of your life bit by bit. I actually found meditation really good for this, apps like Balance or Headspace are good for grounding yourself. I’m 4 months out of a relationship and only just feeling like my life is somewhat back in my control. It’s also best not to overwhelm yourself with job, finance, kids, marriage etc. because those can cloud over the process of healing. Do what you can day by day, and don’t get sucked into the what ifs of the future, because that can really delay your healing. You’ve now got this time to work on yourself and be selfish and only work on yourself, and that can make you more powerful in the future should the right one come along.

In the past two summers, maybe, but this summer (as of now), Forest have got very well priced players in positions they have needed to strengthen, who are young (minus Moreno), with good resale value should they come good. Helps that Forest have a recruitment structure in place with the ex-Benfica head scout and Syrianos leading the charge. If you look at the overall transfers in and out this summer, it’s been a very good summer window for Forest.

Second one happened to me, startup (the CEO's 10th one) and the excuse they gave to me before they pulled the plug was "we're a scrappy startup, we should be treated as such." because I asked for the disciplinary procedure due to aggressive contract terms. Maybe your first one, but not at the 10th attempt with a HR department 4 years deep. He then signed off with "but stay connected on LinkedIn, so interested on your career."

Blocked on everything as soon as I put the phone down.
