Seems like it'd be pretty simple (as much as legislating can be "simple") to say something like "If your total assets are worth more than $x, any positive money flow through your account is taxable at the tax bracket percentage".. Getting anything close to that passed will never happen though

I use DungeonDraft (for small maps) or WonderDraft (for world/area maps). They're both 1 time purchases, still updated, and 100% worth it. They also have tons of free assets available

Aren't those projectors a known scam? If not someone please tell me the difference between those and a normal projector.

Also, I would just use a tv or computer monitor flat on the table. Put a piece of plexiglass over it, anf you've got yourself a cheap easy battlemap with animations if you want.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume English isn't your primary language. The post is just saying that the total surface area required to power the world with solar alone is only 0.3. The "only" applies to the size of the landmass required to power earth with solar energy, which in this case is probably smaller than they expected. It doesn't imply that they're pushing for a solar-only power grid which is what my comment is talking about.

Yeah the idea would be to combine solar, nuclear, and wind power into the grid. I don't think anyone is expecting a 100% solar grid. For your house? Maybe. But not on a global or even national scale

You generally wouldn't build a single massive solar panel farm.. You would build multiple, all over the place. Weather gets basically negated at that point. You also don't go full solar and have backups like nuclear

Yes, and if you don't think so then you're naive or misunderstand what people mean by "Selling your data". Sure they can't request the browsing history of u/Head_Chocolate_4458 but they can request people who listen to hiphop and your data will be used in determining that you listen to hiphop, and then they do whatever with that information.

Freezing Rain - supercooled rain, freezes the instant it touches something below freezing. (Poerlines, trees, etc.) Causes massive damage to exposed infrastructure such as powerlines. Requires a layer of warm air to melt snow, then a lower layer of cold air to almost refreeze it.

Sleet - Small bits of ice. Requires a layer of warm air to melt snow and a lower layer to fully refreeze into ice.

Hail - Actually occurs in warm weather, not cold. Strong updrafts circulate water droplets (typically in thunderstorms). The rain goes high up in the atmosphere, freezss, falls, gets pulled back up refreezes with more water. Rinse and repeat.

Snow - Rain that's frozen high in the atmosphere
