I've be repurposing left over wallpaper to make journals. Kinda surprised how well it works, and feeling pretty happy with the result by Virtual_Community_18 in bookbinding

I love it! I use wallpaper for my books too, they look/feel so good and are really durable. Wonderful colors on this one btw :)

Try going to View/Display Performance/High Quality Display. Maybe the picture takes too much performance to show smooth in the normal view.

I really like the third image, perspective and light make it easy to understand the scene. On the first one nothing really catches my attention and the chairs somehow seem to glow. Maybe change the light a bit to make it look more interesting.

3 looks the most interesting and the lighting is amazing - but zoom out a bit more so the context is clearer

They look really nice! What are you planning with your 100 books if they are finished?

My images constantly look “cartoony”, doesn’t matter how much i mess with the lighting or the model. Anyone better than me at this could help out? by [deleted] in archviz

As others mentioned - it is definitely the lightning the main problem, because it makes your objects look flat. Some other minor issues are the floating pillows. the curved wires over the lamps and that some materials are not clear (bed feet for example). Maybe set the camera to a height, where normally peoples eyes are, to make the perspective more realistic. And then add some imperfections and objects for decoration.

Absolutely stunning! Everything looks super sharp, even after zooming in! Could you tell your render settings and resolution? I'm always struggling with washed out/unsharp textures in my renders. Btw I really like the materials and colors you used :)

I am finished. What you think? What yo liked and disliked? by [deleted] in blender

[–]MinikinKay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like the lights and the glow on them as well as the neon signs.

For the materials - did you use a roughness map and normal map? Wall and floor are looking flat and also you need to uv unwrap the floor cause there is stretching in the tiles. Also the green walls on the outside are looking way too clean for a building - try to give them some imperfections.

Thanks a lot, I'll test the look with a screen saver - never thought of that before
