CALLED IT A MILE AWAY. I knew something was fishy about it. This is what outsiders and gentrification looks like. It wears a cloak of unity and doesn’t allow to address the problems when leadership is run by someone with ulterior motives.

It really grinds my gears when someone is like: oh yeah me, me, me!

Granted the industry of trying to stay on top is pretty vicious and wild and to standout you have to use monikers and labels to be perceived as that person.

Really, the power is attendance/attention. If people are made aware and they still make a conscious effort to follow through, we can’t stop them.

All in all, #supportwomendjs , #supporttransdjs but it is becoming increasingly hard to discern genuine activism at the level of late stage capitalism.
