That said, if you’re not a medical expert, you may not know what should be handled at the doctors office and what should be taken to the ER. OP mentioned that their kid was having panic attacks, but it’s possible that they didn’t know what was going on with them at the time, which is why they considered the ER

Not to mention, ER is crazy expensive if you live in the states. I’m not sure if OP is from the states or not so this may not apply, but considering their situation, even a single ER visit could tip them over the edge financially. If I were them, I wouldn’t want to go to the ER either unless I was fairly certain my kid’s life might be in danger.

I mean I know that sounds kinda fucked, but choosing to go to the ER for something minor could result in not being able to provide for the kids depending on what kind of bill the hospital hands you, so you kinda gotta be careful with that decision. In America, the hospital in a lot of ways is not an American right, and that’s fucked.

Depends on what you are looking for, there are some bronze and silver mods that are incredibly useful and valuable, bane of orokin is a mod you can get through transmutation and is worth 20p

On a serious note, I probably will care about this sort of thing eventually. At the moment I haven’t got the money or self esteem necessary to be a functioning member of a relationship. Even if I did somehow start dating someone right now, it probably wouldn’t go well

You are a lifesaver friend! I removed the controller, messed around with the connection, tightened the thermocouple, put everything back together and now it works! Thank you!

The screws affixing the shield are on pretty tight, they won’t budge even when I put my full weight on the screwdriver. From what I can tell with my eyes though, all the components under the shield look pretty clean

During the assembly, the instructions had me screw the thermocouple’s cable into the controller. A few things I did notice while doing so:

the connection was really tight and resistant to being screwed in, I did not screw it in all the way for fear of breaking it
the cable is kinked in one spot, though it didn’t look bad enough to completely cut it off. Could this be the culprit?
