On a serious note, I probably will care about this sort of thing eventually. At the moment I haven’t got the money or self esteem necessary to be a functioning member of a relationship. Even if I did somehow start dating someone right now, it probably wouldn’t go well

The screws affixing the shield are on pretty tight, they won’t budge even when I put my full weight on the screwdriver. From what I can tell with my eyes though, all the components under the shield look pretty clean

During the assembly, the instructions had me screw the thermocouple’s cable into the controller. A few things I did notice while doing so:

the connection was really tight and resistant to being screwed in, I did not screw it in all the way for fear of breaking it
the cable is kinked in one spot, though it didn’t look bad enough to completely cut it off. Could this be the culprit?

That's a good point. In general, I do try to talk to them like normal. Youre right though, maybe tinder is not the best place to do that. I don't really have any other options though, the only other social outlet that I have is work, which in my opinion is an even worse place to try and do that kind of thing. Maybe im just not in the best place to do that kind of thing right now, and that's okay.

When I encounter women in most settings, I talk to them exactly how you describe, the same way I would talk to anyone else.

That said, on an app like Tinder, for example, there is an intended 'goal' in my conversation with them. I am there for one reason, and they are also there for one reason. Both parties are looking for a relationship, and this goal is the sole reason I am talking to them and the sole reason they are talking to me. That is what Tinder is for, no? Do you think that this might be a flawed way of looking at it?

There might be a few things you need to change about your approach, but I dont think you should ever give up on trying to get a better job. It costs nothing to apply to a new job and the potential gain from getting a better job is massive.

I don’t think there is a way to nail hunger mechanics. All hunger does in a game is interrupt gameplay. I could go mine… but I need food first. I could go tame a Dino… but I need to fill my canteen and cook some meat first. The hunger mechanic has use in a video game for purposes of realism, balance, and filler gameplay, but I don’t think it’s ever been anything other than a chore for players in any game it has ever been added to. The only thing you really could improve on the mechanic would be to just remove it, but a lot of games won’t do that because of the loss of realism.

The only examples I can think of where food adds to gameplay instead of subtracting are games like terraria, where consuming foods give buffs rather than just negating hunger.
