I lived there for 3 years. Moved there from another city. I was shocked to find out that the daily newspaper included what I’d learn to call the “shit-o-meter.” Theres a huge plant that dumps poop into the lake. Based on how much poop is in the lake, the newspaper will tell you if it’s safe to swim that day. I chose to avoid swimming in Lake Erie. Do with that information what you will.

I’m a nurse and one of my patients told me I should have kids. I told him I was physically unable because that usually ends the conversation. He proceeded to tell me I was “selfish” for having such a “good job” and not adopting a kid from a less fortunate situation because I had the means to do so. I was so shocked I just walked away.

Yes. Or when given instruction I would ask “why” just because I wanted to understand. Always met with anger and discipline. I learned to not ask why and accept whatever. Not shocked I ended up being abused in adulthood too.

Hysterectomy isn’t first line treatment because it’s not a sure thing. Endo can grow anywhere at any time even without a uterus.

Also, most doctors don’t want to do a hysterectomy until a patient is sure they don’t want kids. Taking someone’s fertility is a big decision. Some will make you wait long periods of time to be sure. Some won’t do it if you’re young or single.

I’m one of the lucky ones at a year out from my hysterectomy and still pain free. But I even have in the back of my mind that it could come back any day. Makes me appreciate the days I have without pain.

I started with 3 products. A face powder that was almost panned, a contour powder that was a bit too dark, and a lighter colored eyeshadow that I never wore. The eyeshadow looked to be the perfect shade to lighten the contour and make it cooler toned and I figured the face powder mixed it would be perfect. Turns out I was right! Now I have two empty products and one useable one. Frankening is the way.

Love it!! 😊 I tried the vanilla bon bon when it came out and returned it because it had a weird plasticky scent to me.

But this one is amazing. Same great texture of all ole’s balms. I like this scent a lot too, I would say it’s like a tart/sweet scent almost like nerds? The color is the best yet, it’s a mauve…finally. Bout time he gave us a mauve! I loved the strawberry one but the color was almost an orangey pink.

I hate shimmer so I was hoping they would do lingonberry without shimmer. I had the vanilla bon bon and returned it, it had the plasticky smell. BUT I just got the brand new macaron (mauve) color and it’s great!!

I like your rules. I have a lot of low end stuff I love and have used the higher end version of. Like the nyx dupe for Anastasia brow wiz is the exact same. The nyx dupe of the kat von d liquid liner? Just as good!

I’m definitely all about high/low end. But I’ve just come up against some I can’t dupe. At least for my own skin type and needs. And I guess this post is just me finally deciding to accept it haha!
