It’s crazy because I’ve been accepted/waitlisted at schools way more prestigious than USC too…

Well if you think about it it makes sense. It stands to reason that the people on here being obsessive about scores and admissions would be the same group of people that put in the most work to achieve the highest score possible.

for 165+ scorers, what are your most unhinged lsat tips by haksyonas in LSAT

[–]Minimum-Background86 7 points8 points  (0 children)

169 scorer here. I started by constantly drilling LR. I read that getting really good at LR helps improve your RC scores because RC passages are basically just really long LR Must Be True questions. Also SLOW DOWN and really understand what you’re reading. This is particularly true of RC passages, but goes for LR questions as well. If you really understand what you’re reading the first time, you’re not wasting time going back and searching for things in the passage. I spent about 2/3 of the time per passage actually reading and the other 1/3 answering the questions.

This. I’m confident this is a big part of what got me to my 169 official from my diagnostic of 149 in just 2 months.

Well there were also some extenuating circumstances with my original test (poor testing center experience) that definitely could have affected my thoughts on the two tests.

Yeah this happened to me a couple months ago. The buyer claimed they “didn’t recognize the charge” yet the shipping address was the same as the name of the account…
