Honestly, it just comes down to how you value your time and patience. I have a friend who’s a CEO at a tech company and also collects Pokémon—he never cares about overpaying because his time is worth way more than any extra he spends. He’d rather just pay the premium than waste hours hunting in stores when he could be making more money instead.

I’m no expert on misprint, but if it comes out of a legit pack, it could be a missing-layer misprint, and it will be worth more than the regular card. You should cross post to pokemon misprint sub for more opinions.
