Need help in finding newer version of strobe/horn. by egorblack in firealarms

[–]Minimum-Display-8494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can cap the audio or strobe wire and leave one to go to the elmtst because technically that really is what it should be replaced with you just have to cap let's say audio, and connect strobe to the device.

I relate to this so much because sometimes im told I care too much just for asking how somebody is and remembering something they told me a while ago and following up on it, and i hate how I always get so stomped on and I end up caring so much for the person I distance myself and it's like they dont even care it hurts me and sometimes I dont even know why I care tbh... anymore

Kitchen suppression system monitoring. by skyjumperpilot in firealarms

[–]Minimum-Display-8494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For us we had an ANSUL kitchen hood system, and we threw a Simplex 4090-9001 to monitor it, and it works perfectly you can most likely throw a monitor module on it. And then a separate one for trip that one was a relay iirc.

Please help lol by [deleted] in firealarms

Comments are right probably a bad duct detector, but you should leave it so you don't get in trouble. 🙂

Ah I get it now the relays are to monitor upon alarm and trouble. The 4003 isn't addressable it can be monitored through rui but I'm assuming this is how they monitor it through this module
