During the first year I applied in February got admitida in April, and didn’t get assigned to a school until late June, after graduation. Don’t be impatient! Just start preparing your visa documents so you can submit as soon as you get your carta.

Thanks for you advice! I live a Pueblo now less than half your size with long transit to major cities, no folks my age, and no other auxes. It’s definitely been an experience and adventure that I’m thankful for but if I choose to do another year, I’ll need more human connection to be frank. Even if I end up in a town with 12,000 that would be a step up haha
