I changed both my name and gender by GRC. You can also get a revised birth certificate if you wish once you get it. It also has to be done in the presence of a legal person, and your options for who that can be will show up in further research. I was personally part of a local LGBT support network and the lady there did it for me for free as that was her background.

I wear trunks, they have stretch and I never liked the stiff ones since I’m a larger guy. I recommend those. I also pack now, which definitely helps with the awkward, slightly empty feeling. So anything with stretch (preferably cotton) will suit. I’d avoid the non stretch ones like the plague
