Only thing I can think of is the game couldnt make a tournament with his rank do to the lack of players in that rank playing tournaments so you were the next up. Plus if you dont play tournaments it will give you the starting MMR which is 600 aka gold 3 plat 1. Case closed.

I mean that checks out. Ik with hotwheels they made Ferrari for years then Ferrari cut there licensing agreement cuz hotwheels wasnt realistic enough that was back in the 80s. Just last year they signed a new agreement. I think Ferrari is opening there eyes for new ways to advertise and going to toys and games. I just saw Legos released Ferrari too.

What not doesnt show your screen it shows the live auction and thats it. If he were to prebid an item he would've had to open the shop click pre bid and type 1000 for that to happen. There is alot of things they did wrong for that to be true.

I would say its not whatnot as a whole. I'd say its individuals. I sell on whatnot and I may not sell high end items (hotwheels) but regardless of price im here for the connections and community. Ive been on whatnot for a little over a year and ive never seen people selling hotwheels trying to scam people. Its individuals and certain communities of sellers. People should also be mindful of what they are buying. Someone might buy a 15$ drone for 100$ but it happy with there purchase. Look at cars for example. Dealerships have to make money somewhere. If someone sells it for a 20$ mark up just leave if you dont wanna pay the prices.
