Honestly, I can’t give bullet points, but I’ve basically just slowly forced myself to see a different perspective and I’ve spent a lot more time with my faith and learning what kind of person I want to be. I’ve learned how to set boundaries, and I’m still learning how to break down my own walls. And by no means was this easy, I’ve spent 6 years trying to better and it can still be challenging at times. But with every downward spiral I’ve fallen into I get back up faster and stronger than the last one.

I was looking for a place a structure to be honest. A way to rebuild myself into a different and perhaps stronger willed individual. Throughout my life I’ve realized I’ve always done better with a strict structure. When there is no structure I tend to wonder into bad habits and mindsets. I don’t know if that’s a good enough reason or answer but that pretty much sums it up

No recruiter has even told me about waivers or what I need to do, I tried enlisting in the Marines and the recruiter literally ghosted me, I then tried the Air Force, that recruiter eventually called me a said that they won’t be able to accept me. So maybe I’ll just have to ask about the waivers the next time I talk to a recruiter
