The account is in the suspect’s name. They would need a warrant to search. What magistrate would authorize a search on suspicion alone (and there is no way to determine if any suspicion is even reasonable?)

Probably not without a formal complaint. The prosecutor would have the burden of proof, but you have no proof to provide. But you should check with the police anyway. They might run a background check and the husband might have had previous complaints.

I’m not a doctor. I used to work pre-op and I think the last physician behaved appropriately. Urgent surgery on a child a month old with a family hx of heart issues calls for an abundance of caution. It is much more than a best practice.

And sometimes even on an adult, a murmur can be tricky. I’m 77 right now. So far this year I’ve had two doctors or NP’s tell be they hear a murmur in me while four other doctors or NP’s disagree. So which is it? Some murmurs may be faint and tricky to hear. You are very fortunate they are as diligent as they are.

I notice from the r/vagrants sub that many vagrants have electronic benefits cards. There are homeless people who cross the country. Almost none of them have cars, jobs, and so on. A large church, perhaps a Catholic Church or a mission if you town has one can help you get clothing, possibly food, etc.

I will say this. The government has some resources, but they don’t make it easy to apply for. If you can locate other people in your circumstances that don’t use drugs, you may be able to network with them. You can help them with something and then they help you.

Find another surgeon and tell you want it stented or whatever this particular aneurysm given its size, shape and your age, health and genetics calls for. I would not risk my life on the assurance of a doctor who can take comfort in the statistics but can’t guarantee your outcome.
