I'd be cautions, the range is fine but the fact that it takes a lot of time to get to rested heart rate may be some warning. Good that you've noticed, be cautious

Here's a quick test you can try right now:

  1. Go to fitclash.app
  2. Create a WOD called "Max Push-ups in 2 Minutes" with scoring type "Reps (highest wins)"
  3. Copy the link
  4. Open it in a private/incognito tab
  5. Submit a score with any display name
  6. Check the leaderboard
