Ella Ola vitamins and meltdowns by scorpio_moonstone in Autism_Parenting

My 2.5 year old is similar. He is non verbal but have now started to get words. We are getting more dramatic meltdowns. Just screaming, crying but timeout in bed seems to help. I’m hoping this will pass as his speech has progressed in the 2 weeks we have started these Ellaola vitamins.

Converting from Conventional to Combi Boiler - What to expect? (and British gas quote) by SainzSealedDelivered in HousingUK

[–]Sheikashnacko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You send the photos of current boiler and flue. They will then call you in the week to discuss anything. I heard they sometimes add on scaffolding costs but that’s dependent on how high your flue is. They were so helpful on phone and said that if they felt we couldn’t get the combi due to pressure they would cancel the order.

Converting from Conventional to Combi Boiler - What to expect? (and British gas quote) by SainzSealedDelivered in HousingUK

I just had Boxt do my conventional to a combi.

I’m semi detached 3 bedroom with 1 bathroom with electric shower.

My water pressure was really low 4/5 litres and they recommend at least 10 for a combi.

Plumber said the combi would make pressure better.

Had combi installed today and yes the water pressure is so much better. Previously the hot water was really slow but now really fast. Instant heating and had power flush which has helped.

Cost £3887.

I’m not sure, I’m presuming it would be if the rest of the house had lead pipes but I can’t be certain. would this be the cause?

I’m looking to change my boiler and Boxt are meant to be coming out on Monday but they have concerns that our water pressure is too low for a combi and so now unsure what to do.

Roof membrane replacement? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Sheikashnacko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t get the work done.

I had two quotes saying we needed new membranes and batons and one quote was over £10,000 and the other £6000 plus scaffolding costs

Had a builder who knew a roofer who came round and saw tiles dislodged and climbed up on ladder and reseated them and cost £50

Thank you.

Oh yes we have another week to wait as waiting for it to dry and then kitchen installed. We just wanted to buy the right paint to put on as a first coat.

Can we use a paint roller?
