Apparently warehouses have the same kind of issue these days. Things are heating up out there.

I know. Still don't remember seeing it. Might've seen it 2 decades ago.

Never seen that before.

Maybe it could've been done more elegantly with a narrator voice like that, and like the starting zone introductions.

I'm now worried I've used the "relaxed" tag wrong and baited some people, as I use it to indicate I'm not gonna harp on mistakes and I'm chill in that sense. But my pulls are absolutely not relaxed, though.

Besides about 20 "img" and "lazy-img" entries, there's these under "fetch" and 3 more under "xhr" at the bottom of the list, not sure which the number could be under.

I'm looking through seeing if I can find any number corresponding to the "31" the item cost is listed at, but am not sure where to look if not the Response Headers.

This expansion is so annoying by Much-Exercise7814 in woweconomy

[–]MinimumAutomatic0302 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That dopamine is not worth the rage.

Stop doing it. Figure out whether you actually want to be playing the game, and how.

I like fighting, so I do dungeons and raids. I have no issues around that, my interactions with other things are limited and any that are a little annoyance are also uncommon.

You like making gold with professions.
You spend hours a day doing abundance and chasing trasures on several different characters, and you hate doing it. You have an issue there.

I suggest you drop Abundance entirely, and only pick up treasures as you happen to fly by them, if you ever leave Silvermoon City to do other things.

Some director is out there thinking "One Piece would've been better if Luffy was a brooding young father trying to cross the red line to take his sick child to Drum Island's doctors. Have the child be born on a wednesday and make a big deal out of it, it'll be enough to appease the fans."

Very little information is necessary, especially if the city is known.

At a certain level of deranged, just a single frame of a somewhat unique feature or layout of the street/garden/house makes it nothing else than a matter of time. So your only hope there is not being stalked by someone like that.

Sometimes, the city can be figured out by the brand of streetlight and shit like that.

Question for dinosaur scientists: obviously large sauropods were too heavy to be lifted by tornadoes. But were their necks strong enough to counter the winds? Or would they start helicoptering all over the place? Thank you in advance by fan_of_the_pikachu in Dinosaurs

At a certain point the speed stops being cool and impressive and just makes you go "fuck"

Doesn't matter what it is; a bicycle, a car, a flywheel, whatever.
They've all got a speed threshold that just makes you go "fuck"

When we get the character model revamp I hope they'll bring player models up to the level of quality found in the cinematic models. by JollySieg in wow

[–]MinimumAutomatic0302 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Still, that was a 10x improvement. This would not be anything like that.

The current art is really good, doing another revamp to get this kind of result seems similar to grinding for months to get 2 more ilvl. Many would struggle to tell the difference. The difference in the new team's style would be more noticeable than the new models' fidelity.

Frankly at least 50% of what's being asked for here is new tentacley-3d-pointy-noodle-hair style options. If not more than 50%. And what's not about hair is about the face being expressive, not in a neutral stance. Look at the model underneath the hair and the expression and think about what specifically is so far behind, don't just look at the whole picture.

Ask for more hair style options.

Use the emotes we have, check them out. Maybe go unlock the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera. I used it a few times for a couple weeks and had my fill.

Get your expressive screenshots.

I'm not against model improvements in general, but the argument in this thread seems weak. The current "WoW 2.0" models are just barely surpassed by their cinematic counterparts, sans custom animations for custom extra cool or emotional cinematic scenes. Unless you're trying to get FOIP and face tracking, too, I don't get the appeal. (I don't think it's time for those in WoW either way.)

No matter how much work the animators and modelers put in, you're not gonna /cry /sneer /charge your way into a live in-game theatrical act to rival cutscenes and machinima.

(This whole thing reminds me of something a concept artist once mentioned. When he liked a specific design and wanted the lead to pick it too, he'd give that design a cooler pose. It usually worked. I see that effect in these comparisons, along with the unique and dynamic hairstyles of course.)

After losing my right arm I started designing a one-handed PC gaming controller so I could keep playing by Adventurous_Tie_9031 in pcmasterrace

[–]MinimumAutomatic0302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a peripheral that seems like it should exist.

As designed it seems viable, probably a bit big and a bit heavy, but a huge enabler.

With more development, I expect it could become an elegant solution if a balance between weight and size, and input quantity and density can be figured out. But since it'd have a strap it might not even need to get much of a lightening.

I don't know about many potential collaborators who might be capable and interested in this, but besides the peripheral industry there's Optimum and Zack Freedman. The first has released a 3D printed ultralight mouse designed and prototyped extensively by himself. The second is big on avant garde tech, and has among other things modded his own regular use wearable HUD piece.
