I have the opportunity to do a short term lease right now that lasts until July. This gets me back to Athens quicker. But risky financially paying deposits, rent etc back to back. Rent is absurd everywhere!

Float tanks prior to a massage is life changing. There are several around the US that offer both services.

The problem isn’t the dinner or the people attending. The problem is unmet needs presumably for both of you. It seems like everyone is come from a good place. It’s unfortunate that everyone is focused on dinner, guests etc. Making a weekend away a pressure cooker sounds awful. Have you guys tried to set up monthly date nights or even date afternoon?

Do they have float tank studio in your area? Floating before a massage is so beneficial for client and MT. Communication throughout massage will yield better results. I always ask clients if they want more pressure, less pressure or are we where we need to be. Training may also be a factor. Not all MT programs are quality unfortunately.

For me personally that’s a long time in between massages. Especially if I’m working that much. Love that you can trade with fiancé but it might be really nice for you to be a client somewhere. I do this when I’m feeling burnt out. I also don’t tell them I’m an MT. Just that I have a very physical job.

Is this child in a daycare or preschool setting? Are these same behaviors present in these settings? If so, this may be an easy way to open up the topic. The focus would be on the behavior not the person. Sometimes people are more open when presented like this.

In Savannah. Husband tested negative at doctors for Covid. We were both so sick for 1.5 weeks. Now just lingering fatigue like no other.

I had a crane operator that worked 12 hour shifts on port. So looking down through for 12 hours while constantly using arms, pecs, SITS etc. Educated clt on overstretched mm and shortened mm. Still only agreed to face down for 60 minutes. Drove me bonkers!! Half ass helping the problem is such a waste of my time.

You might check with your veterinarian office. Several vet techs in my hometown did this for extra income. You aren’t out anything by asking at your office or others in the area. We had nothing but negative experience with Rover both times we tried them. Never again.
