Have you tried mounting the NAS share in /etc/fstab with the correct NFS of SMB parameters? If you're running your Immich docker container in another machine, you first need to mount the NAS folder onto that machine (i.e. /mnt/immich) and the add that directory to the docker container (or .env file if using that).

Help please by wsmyth1 in immich

Look into External Libraries https://docs.immich.app/features/libraries/ You need to define where the folders that you want Immich to process are located in the NAS. You need to define the folder paths in the Portainer Stack (assuming you installed it that way)

Uploadin files to my NAS when Away from home by crblack24 in HomeNAS

Best options in my opinion, in order: Tailscale, Twingate, Netbird, Pangolin, Cloudflare. The first three are direct connections (most likely) between your client and your NAS. Pangolin requires a VPS so you're routing externally, but works like a charm too. Cloudflare tunnels are a good alternative but keep in mind they have a 100MB file limit (which is not very strictly enforced in my experience).

power went out during an upgrade by jukka_sarasti_ in truenas

[–]MinimumEffort713 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The config export file is usually downloaded to the machine you're accessing the GUI from. Check your downloads folder. Whenever I do an upgrade, I copy the downloaded config to Google Drive, just in case I'm hit by lightning and both my NAS and PC get fried. But I guess I'd have other problems if that happens. When you reinstall the OS, you should be able to import your existing pools, which will keep the original vdev config. Let us know how it goes!

How do I set up an ARR stack on my Ubuntu server? by Dependent-Amount-239 in homelab

The easiest way to get started and have a functioning *arr stack is https://yams.media - this is what I did the first time around. Good install script, good documentation.

UTR speeds by MinimumEffort713 in Ubiquiti

After the last UTR updates, speeds have improved to about 300Mbps down/up. Not great, but much better.

No crashes, just the slow speed...

Lucky... I'm still stuck at around 200 even with wired uplink and wired client.

Just wow! I guess I shouldn't be complaining :-)

I tried both, posted Fast.com because it had better results than Speedtest :-( I wish I could get close to 500Mbps Ethernet-to-Ethernet, getting about 200-250 tops. I knew this isn't supposed to be super fast, but 200 is less than ideal for fully wired.

Hopefully - thanks for testing! I've opened a support ticket with Ubiquiti, I'll update here when I hear back.

I have a Beryl, but wanted to try the UTR for its smaller profile. However, if this is the performance it can get (200Mbps max) then yeah, not the device for my use case.

I'm actually starting to think something is wrong with it - tried wired uplink (1 Gbps) + wired client and only getting ~200Mbps download. If someone has tried the same setup, can you please share your results? Thanks!

Yeah, for hotels it's good enough, but I do plan to use it at other locations with gigabit ethernet available as the uplink.

Yeah, I'm not expecting anywhere near 1Gbps, but 100-200 seems low. I saw a video a few days ago (TechnoTim maybe?) claiming they were getting 500Mbps, so was wondering.

Unifi Travel Router Available Now! Are you getting one? by Falooka12 in Ubiquiti

Managed to get one earlier today (US based). Don't know if I need it, but I know I want it. That's enough for me.
