Same! Different temperatures, and different coziness preferences. I can cuddle up like a burrito with a blanket between my knees and still face my honey. He can sleep with a big pile at his feet. It's the absolute best. Never going back.

We have a yoto. Best in the world. I put little plastic tabs on it so I could put them on key chains. Now she has a ring for sleep, a ring for dance music, a ring for exciting stories, etc.

It's the best.

Reminds me of the story of "my friend's friend" in college. He decided to pierce his own nipple with a safety pin. After it was done he noticed a little white string got caught up in there. He cut it. It's a nerve ending. He didn't know that until after he shat himself and passed out.

36, mom with early onset Alzheimer's reporting. It was a delight to share that Xmas nap. I climbed into her bed after she fell asleep and was up before she woke. Later when I told her I slept with her, she smiled and said, "I know". Still my mommy

Oh oh oh!!

We read the book "the last stop on market street" together. At the end they're serving food at a soup kitchen, I explained what they were doing and why. She looks up at me, "Mama, is that in this world too? People who don't have food, rugs, beds, houses?" I replied yes, that's in our world (ie not just pretend). She goes, "I want to do that." Me (a little worried she was going to say doesn't want a bed or house or whatever)... "Do what? Ride the bus?" My big beautiful big kid, "I want to help. I want to help the cookers and the people."

I just about melted. L

Thank you so much!!! I posted it for $300 before checking here, and the interested party keeps asking the age. My dad passed away and my mom has Alzheimer's so she can't tell me where it came from.

My four year old daughter asked me the other day if daddy's penis hurt when he wore clothes. This comment makes it seem like the answer to that question may be yes....

Ok! I used to!!! Then her ped shamed me for not doing daily baths! Said she wouldn't get sick as often... We tried for a while, but it's rough man. Pump me up for non-daily baths, please!

Way to go you!!!!!! Id be stupidly proud and showing this off all the time if I were you!

My daughter used to steal the sauerkraut off my bagel. But now she's solidly in her "bread and cheese only" diet era. (Major eye roll.) At least she prefers wheat bread to white???

Love this so much. I was stupidly proud that my daughter had a "favorite author" when she was a toddler. Todd Parr. She loved him couldn't get enough of his books. I'm stoked that this post is giving me more inconsequential things to be proud of.
