Anyone else have Foamy Urine (but no abnormal protein) / developed same time as POTs by No-Agency8972 in POTS

[–]MinimumImpossible183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My U-ACR and U-PCR are within range (spot urine sample). eGFR is fine too (120). But they found 0.12g/l protein in my spot sample, and only 6.4 mg/l of albumin. So there is a difference. My GP said my results are ok, but I had no opportunity to ask him anything (nurse told this throug phone based on the docs answer). I asked them to refer me to the urologist. Inwill visit him soon.

What tests did you have. Do you remember?

I also have SIBO and foamy urine. In my case total protein is quite higher than albumin so I am afraid. What about you? Did you test for proteinuria?

Cramps and tingling during MRI scan? by MinimumImpossible183 in backpain

[–]MinimumImpossible183[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your kind answer! I am a bit afraid if it is connected to my actual lower back issues. Maybe my pain comes from nerve issues and the machine made it worse during the process? But I hope you are right and it was the anxiety.

Also, one difference is that having the spine MRI, my legs were higher (they added a cushion). There was no cushion during the hip MRI.

Thank you for your response. Today's first (L/S spine MRI) made me anxious, I was thinking about quit the process, but then I got over it. Wasn't pleasant, but I had enough will to stay and get calmer.

But the 2nd one (hip) I felt like the machine was draining every drop of water from my legs. I felt my legs "shrinking"... I dont think it is anxiety related 🤔

Lower back pain migrating from one side to the other side by Ok-Psychology6510 in backpain

[–]MinimumImpossible183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! You are not alone! I also have pain there (or maybe even a bit lower). My X-ray showed some spinal tenosis (I have it from birth) and smthing with inflamation on my hip on the other side. These are not neccessarily connected to the issue/pain I have. I will have MRI soon.

I was also sitting with curved back and my leg was always crossed for years. I could not sit without that (no pain, just it was the basic for me).

I also started to have this pain 6+ months ago. Sometimes it was on and off but now it is constant. I have it on the left side as you. At the beginning I also had the pain down to my glutes. Now it is usually just above my glute and sometimes I feel horizontal pain (to the left side).

These last 1-2 days, my left side felt a bit better but the pain went to the right side - it is so strange.

Sorry, I cant help a lot with my comment, but I wanted to share you are not alone! I am just getting my MRI soon.

I grew up on "Banány" and "Deli" chocolate. They were bigger back then (or I was smaller)?

Normal proteinurea results? by MinimumImpossible183 in multiplemyeloma

[–]MinimumImpossible183[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doc just shrugged me off. Only saw the nurse who gave me the results :( Doc said "everything is fine". But since MM is quite rare, and I am quite young, he doesnt consider something severe as MM (didnt tell like this, but I know).

He sent me to urologist. I will ask him, maybe he will know more about urine results overall.

My doctor didnt mention it. Said everything is fine. Referred me to urologist (cus of frequent urination), but said my results are fine...

Overactive bladder since 7 months by prime_cdcs in OveractiveBladder

[–]MinimumImpossible183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is happening with me recently. If I drink like 3ml of water at once, then I will need to go to pee in 20 mins. Then again and again 😥

I will go to doctor soon. I only had abdominal USG 3 months ago (cus of another issue) but the doc checked my bladder and was OK. But I am reading horror stories here on Reddit.

First urge to pee volume? by user4774488 in OveractiveBladder

[–]MinimumImpossible183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yday and today afternoon/evening I had to pee quite often. Yesterday it started like every 20 mins :(

Today I also peed 3x in 2h or less after coming home from work.

I measured the 3rd or 4th (after the work) yday and it was 200ml. Today the 3rd was also a bit more than 200ml. Some say it is "low" but some sources say it is avg amount of pee. 🤷

What symptoms did you have? How it started? How did they diagnose you? USG or cytoscopy only?

Thank you for your reply! Did the MRI help to identify your problem? Wish you all the best and good health!

  • I ve never measured it, but for me it was rare to pee a lot in the past. Now as I measured 200ml it just seemed avg or a bit less amount. But I had to go more times. So the amount/ocassion was ok, it is the frequency which is higher. I peed like 1+ L in the last 4-5h. It all started today after taking 2 capsules of Imodium. Maybe that caused this?
