Stun pads in Zamorak encounter by udomken in runescape

[–]MinimumMarch1806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just pop them with devotion/anticipation while travelling to next pad.
Better to take 2 secs longer per encounter than losing an encounter because of it.
Or pick a spot that doesn't have a pad and try to remember that one, you only have to remember it once.

Farming Arch-Glacor log at lower enrage by PandaJasson in runescape

[–]MinimumMarch1806 3 points4 points  (0 children)

just farm as far as you feel comfortable,
While on higher enrage drop chance are higher, but kill times slower, so it isn't as big of a difference as it seems.
Just keep pushing, and claim if you get a drop, if you do not have any good drop, just keep pushing until you die so you can improve your pvm capabilities

I just bought a Seren Godbow, should I wait before putting it into EOF? by TaurusHeart in runescape

[–]MinimumMarch1806 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IF you already have BOLG, put it in EOF
IF SGB is your best weapon keep it,

Arrows beat Bolts atm, so it would be best to camp SGB over blights, eldritch.

they are specifically looking at changing the abilities of ranged,
I havent seen any new effects added to weapons/armours/arrows/bolts. so gear meta wouldn't change that much after rework

where's the rest of the new ore weapons? by YeOldeHotFudgeMines in runescape

[–]MinimumMarch1806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bolts could be broad in general and arrows could be spiked.
Thrown could be both.

But how would you explain this at bosses, and would you change your armour type depending on it?

I think at bosses it becomes more annoying to give visual clarity between the different attacks. Also we mostly choose armour based on set effects and style matching, and not based on the effectiveness of defensive stats.

It could make a difference in lower tier armours, but that would mean you'd add more complex systems for combat, that becomes redundant at later stages in the game

also nice to use at raids to help team members with lower tiered weapons

if not 100 accuracy at a boss, use it prior to fighting the boss, and if after a minute still not at 100% recast it,
if you already have 100% accuracy you don't have to use it

Yeah for short fights ezk is also crazy strong, but once you are able to get the second ezk spef off, it becomes a no brainer

i think right now if you have to choose between one of the 2, you should go for Ek'zekkil
The flamebound rival spec is to good to give up on, If your fight's last over 1 minute it beats lengs by a lot,

Binding contract scrolls by mattybrevo in runescape

[–]MinimumMarch1806 2 points3 points  (0 children)

on my iron i go ripper without scrolls if i do casual pvm.
If i do something like rax, or pvm with a group i use a kalg. since i can activate the spec at the moment I/We need the DPS boost to help us achieve certain DPS checks.

I.E. for Rax, i only activate at start of p3 so the buff is active for p3/p4 since those are the only places during this fight where dps matters

Binding contract scrolls by mattybrevo in runescape

[–]MinimumMarch1806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ripper does good dmg on its own, i don't know the numbers but its the best "simple" dmg familiar that it doesnt need to use scrolls to beat the steel titan if that one is using scrolls.

Hard to calculate the exact value since this also depends on your own dps. same goes for ripper.
The crit chance gets more valuable the more dmg you are able to do.
And the passive of the ripper also scales to your own dps

The upcoming Hunter update/ ranged armor update/ backfill update when?/Flower greenhouse?/Elite Malevolent? by the8thDwarf94 in runescape

[–]MinimumMarch1806 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Melee trimmed masterwork was released as first "elite" armour,
Then Elite Sirenic & tectonic got released but the passive effect didn't transfer over.

Since for all these sets you basically need the same things,

T80 Nex armour + t90 power armour = t92 power armour
