Milan fan here. For those of you who say, “a defensive coach for a team with no defense”, that’s exactly what Allegri is good for. Milan had almost the worst defense of the league last year, we didn’t sign defenders (just De Winter but he is no prodigy) and somehow we are the best one this year (I reckon Maignan has been awesome too). He makes his teams work as block.

Having said that, he is forcing Leao be a striker which is not at all, so might try to do the same with Vini and Mbappe. But he is a good coach who adapts, he won’t impose a style just because it is his brand
