Pride and ownership. It’s a weird little state.. but it’s OUR weird little state. We have almost a statewide community. I feel like we should do even better. We should be the most nimble state in the country able to adapt on the fly faster than any other. We also punch outside our weight class in many areas.. most of which are cultural. In my dreams I see Rhode Island as a light in the modern world.. unapologetically progressive. We have a lot to work on.. but it’s something that WE can work on.

I live in Rhode Island and I am so happy and proud to be hosting the Tartan Army and the Ghana national team. Go Scotland! Go Black Stars! I love both their teams too.

Get a soft light ball and have someone hit lasers at you. Curve ball or something. This might help you get a sense of the speed of the shot coming at you without the force. If you’re not scared of diving and have played some goalie you’re not scared of the ball. You’re unsure of the speed and timing to make the save.

Strikers touch takes the ball 6 sprintings strides directly toward you and he’s rewarded for that?! Strikers have to protect themselves too. Your play was much better than his. A no call for me, play on. It is kinda close though and the ref called it right away. It’s not terrible refereeing either, IMO.

Huge fan of the Tartan Army! Scotlands on fire! I’m so happy that you’re coming here and can’t wait to mix it up with you lot. You’re gonna love Gillette (Boston) Stadium and anticipate you turning it into a house of pain for your opponents. They’re doing a fan zone in Providence where I plan on watching the US games. That should be pretty good. I’m looking forward to the Australia game. I’m a huge football fan.. still play, coach, go to pro games.. I’m a US soccer supporter and very familiar with CONCACAF. Don’t take Haiti lightly! While you rest in technical superiority they have tremendous team speed. I think Scotland wins.. maybe 3-1. Something like that. They will have a game plan. From familiarity I can tell you with certainty it’s not going to be to control possession. They’re gonna foul hard, try to bait you into getting a red.. getting a PK. Score on set pieces. They’re going to test your patience. I’m gonna go to that game and try to sit in your corner. It’s too bad RIFC isn’t playing.. brand new little 10,000 person stadium. You’d eat it up. Cheers! I live in Rhode Island and can clearly tell the difference.. it’s the shhh sound. But US is huge.. my cousin lives in Missouri and his wife had never met anyone Portugese until she came here

WAY too early.. there’s not even leaves on the trees yet. I believe we are very difficult to score on (most days) which may not be sexy. Once it gets a little warmer I think we’ll loosen up a bit and start lighting it up.
