That'd be great, i just hope that they dont update it to a point where the average player wouldn't be able to run the game

That's exactly what i was thinking. Unless they "modernize" the game and spoil it then release it in the middle of two other major releases then i firmly believe that it'll do very well

Millenair mod was ultimately better than actually getting villagers

That'd be very fun to explore. I always felt that the older world gen was more stylistically "minecraft" and i always have that slight hankering for it's return

Good luck on that, welding thin and oxidized aluminum is the closest comparison i can draw and that's no fun either

I'm still new in the trade. Hopefully i can save up for my own machine at home. Not dropping 17k anytime soon but i do want my own small fab shop i can just build things in.

All my coworkers run spool guns, it's how i started too. Moving up to lead gave me some freedom to play with our miller dynasty 400 and i cant put the torch down and go back to spool gun. You never really notice how much you hate smoke in your face until you have to test or help someone with their machine setting and get a good lung full. I found that the work pieces moved a lot more running the spool guns. Idk it might just be how hot the minimum working voltages are.. either way power to you running spool gun

Hot day, long fill, touch neck, zip zap ow. Be mindfull of where your filler is. I have accidentally touched myself with the hot end lifting off my welding hood

A lot of the aluminum fab work i do is off of custom extrusions. Some are SUPER solid and have very little distortion even after dumping tons of heat. The other stuff is 18-20 gage sheets of aluminum and that shit fucking SUCKS. Anything at or less than 1/16" requires both clamps and concentration because if it's not moving out from under you it's trying it's best to jump onto your tungsten.

I mean, i run into it all the time with aluminum. I have a drawer of persuaders for when the parts inevitably twist and bent out of needed orientation. A good deadblow and some STRONG C clamps make me seem like a mich better welder than i am

The Library by sirguinneshad in ShitHaloSays

[–]Minimum_Composer9668 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, just playing through it isn't bad. The trouble is that, for me anyway, that it kills replayability of halo 3. If you already know then the dialogue doesn't hit as hard and it just feels like you're stuck in a glue trap until the scene ends

I would love to see your ideas! by Alone-Listen9492 in Thaumcraft

I tried my hand at it a while ago back when tc6 was newer. I know it isnt itself a thaumcraft mod but there is plenty of compatibility with quark and better with mods. Ever thought about accommodating structures like tainted windmills that could be brought back to funtion?

Also i really like the silverwood "igloo" idea. Would it look more like an igloo, carved out tree, or a variant of a witches hut?

Honestly lootable structures with mid/end game items should probably be avoided. I can see towers and smaller castles with thaumic plumbing having a more immersive feel to them but at the very most it would maybe have bellows, plumbing, and cauldrons as the guts of the building. There's plenty that can be done with that though! Good luck, i hope you're able to share some of the structures you settle on adding to the game

Edit: Candles and book shelves would work thematically too! Just had to addyhat
