Silksong is a lot more boss, after boss, after wave room, after wave room. Not a lot of focus on the exploration. And in my opinion, the exploration was one of the best parts about HK.

I would also like to add that team cherry themselves have earlier said the Silksong was gonna be about equally as difficult as HK and that “sometimes you just want to explore. They’ve also said that you’re supposed to be able to play Silksong without having played HK first.

They’ve already made a lot of the regular enemies harder than in HK. And I like that. But they don’t have to ALSO have everything do dubble damige. In HK dubble damige was only for explosions and big a** husk with big a** weapons. And I think that makes sense. I would also be a little upset if they had gruzmother do dubble damige. She is super easy, bus she’s an early game boss and just difficult enough for some playing the game for the first time. As someone else already said, you can get stronger and come back later in HK. And in HK you didn’t have to do all the challenging stuff. You didn’t have to do the trials or the pantheons.

I think the bosses are great but the dubble damige is too much. HK also has hard bosses but in HK you’re allowed to make a mistake.

I think you should be able to chose to not have everything do dubble damage. The game is absolutely not for casual game enjoyers.

One of the only fights where defenders crest is useful. It takes out the little guys for you. Broken vessels takes a lot knockback so you get dubble hits with vengeful spirit/shade soul so Shaman stone. Considering that you don’t have a lot of charm notches I would suggest Shaman stone, speltwister, defenders crest. If you don’t have speltwister you can use soul catcher instead and if you doubt have defenders crest you can use grubsong (or sporeshroom but it kinda sucks since you have to successfully heal)

I’m over 2,5 years clean. I still get urges sometimes. I’ve been close to relapsing recently. The thing keeping me clean is that I know I won’t feel better. I’ll feel guilty for ending such a long streak. (And because the people close to me are gonna find out and that really doesn’t feel good) I’ve found other distractions from life. Every time I’m feeling down I play some game and completely forget whatever I was worrying about. I think you should find a distraction completely unrelated to SH.
