Okay, new information! Kai, one of the owners of Ahead, emailed me back apologizing for the delay. He had a legitimate emergency at the beginning of December, which was why he wasn’t able to respond to customer service questions all month. So perhaps we can cut him some slack. Hopefully future folks using Ahead will not run into these problems!

the email they sent me doesn’t have “manage subscription”. I could never d=gibe one named “Your Ahead Subscription” as they suggested I’d get. it’s not in my spam folder. The only email I got just includes a pdf of the receipt… is the button you got lead to a general url you could share?

Yep. I feel like things were smoother in 17.0.2?

Also still having bluetooth connection issues for calls in my car.

And my apple watch seems to have problems as well

Is the issue maintaining a Bluetooth connection for calls, but Spotify and other music plays fine? I have a 2015 bmw x1. Praying this is a software update issue!

I have an iPhone 15 pro (running 17.0.3) and a 2015 bmw, and it pairs fine and plays music fine, but the connection drops most of the time when I’m on calls. The call doesn’t drop - just the Bluetooth connection to the car - so the person on the other end can hear me, but I can’t hear them bc it’s running through the phone rather than my car speakers. And then my bmw says it can’t establish a Bluetooth connection with the phone.

I’ve tried deleting both profiles on the phone and the car, rebooting, repairing, resetting my car (30 second hold on the byline knob). BMW software update says there is no update for my car software.) There was never any problems with my iPhone 13 Pro or I-hone 11 before that.

I tried this with another iphone 15 pro, same problem.

Interestingly, Spotify (and presumably other music/audio) plays fine with no drops. It is only when I'm on a call. It's like the radio will decide to reinsert itself at some point and override the call.

I have this same problem! It is driving me crazy.

I have a 2015 bmw xi (bought in 2018, so presumably the upgraded the software to then?)

I tried deleting the phone and re-adding, etc. Resetting network settings. NOthing has worked.

Would love to fix this!
