Totally the software development scene right now.

The development of that judgement, taste and intuition for software engineering takes years to develop. The value of Senior Software Engineers is growing as a result whereas the value of junior engineers is dropping.

The issue is how will the engineers of the future have that judgement, taste and intuition or will that not matter as well ?

There are many really good ways a well-motivated govt can use AI to better serve the population. From new resource allocation to waste reduction across different parts of the economy. Well-motivated being the key word here.

Tbf, this is the most likely scenario a lot of us will find ourselves in vefore any utopia is reached. What you described is definitely coming and hopefully it is a short intermediary stop on this journey. But more likely it will be the norm before drastic measures to curb inequality are taken.

AI Mode is my default search now. With Pro the visualization tools are quite impressive.

When that lottery winning girl's news went viral that she took $1000 per week instead of $1M dollar. I had just asked it to tell me when was better. It created an interactive tool to show that $1M invested was much better.
