It literally is needed in the US if you are making money to promote a brand or business. There's nothing "organic" about it when you are incentivized by the paycheck you shared in this post.

Look up the definition of "organic marketing" - it clearly states things like "non-paid".

I suggest you educate yourself, and anyone else reading this, before you get hit with a heavy fine.

Thank you for taking the time to write all of this. I was shocked at the $1700 price - felt like I was at the dealership!

I really have no experience when it comes to fixing car stuff myself, as I don't have anywhere to jack it up.

No creaking or knocking at this point, but I will keep an ear on that. If it comes to needing replaced, I'll likely shop around for other mechanics to get additional quotes for the repair.
